Lovely little bar. Staff were efficient, friendly, helpful and polite. The bar itself was clean, tidy and comfortable. However, the toilets leave a lot to be desired They definitely need some stronger/nicer air-freshener, the floor was horrible, reminding people of 80s/90s nightclub dance floors, your feet literally stick to the floor, the toilet seats are loose and move all over. However, they do have a lovely refresh selection in the toilets including products for ladies, perfumes, etc. Outside seating area, was clean and comfortable, though they could do with more ashtrays available as there was only 1, so some people then used the floor as it was on a table at the end of the outside area. There's no parking at the place but there are free car parks within a stones throw. Overall a lovely little bar which could be made brilliant if they upgrade/update the toilets.
Had my daughters 21st birthday here on Saturday afternoon. Hosted by Jason and his amazing bar staff, who were fantastic!...... Thanks for your help setting up too!!! The venue was big enough for around 50 of us, and they handled it, with ease!nThe buffet was fantastic! And the organising of our music playlist and t.v photo screening was brilliant. Thanks again, Artisan! Top job!!
Absolutely brilliant place!!!! we had my mums party here and couldn’t have been more pleased. The staff are amazing and so attentive they couldn’t do enough for us. Food was superb and the Dj was excellent. We will definitely be booking every party here in future.
We had our engagement party here and by far the best bar in Darwen! The staff are friendly and up beat, drinks are great and the facilities are well maintained. The buffet was incredible, I still have people messaging me about how good it was, my family, my friends and my work colleagues have been treated so well to such great services!! Wow.what can I say. We had our daughters 21st birthday party on a saturday afternoon. The venue itself is lovely, right in the centre of Darwen.You get to hire half of the venue for your own party, but can also use the rest of the bar if need be.You also get a complimentary buffet, which I have to say was amazing.And everybody commented on how good it was.Jason the owner was amazing in helping everything run smoothly.Keeping intouch from the minute we booked it, and also being around the day of the party to help with anything.Also a big thankyou to the amazing bar staff that couldnt do enough to help on the day. Even helping with the setting up of the party decorations.So a big THANKYOU to the Artisan for making our daughters 21st birthday amazing from start to finish.x
