After Noon Lunch Me and the wife came here for lunch, the place had a few people in eating, the place looks fresh and bright. the waiter who served us was a very polite and nice guy. We had pate and ribs to start, for mains wife had grilled chicken with peppercorn sauce and i had grilled rib eye steak which were both good, really enjoyed the food, There was also a very nice lady who also served us she made us two very nice desserts chocolate fudge cake and i had the cheese cake which was to die for yes it was homemade beautiful. we would recommend this to restaurant to everyone and will definitely be back.

Essence is a really friendly place with great staff and good atmosphere. This is a lovely place with fabulous food options. The shared starter is exceptionally good as are the steaks.....highly recommended. The cocktails are full of punch and style....you must also try the various Gin's The staff are attentive and make you feel special and there is much value in staying all night in the bar after your meal.

Lovely little Mediterranean restaurant in Darwen run by a very friendly man. Food is delicious and decently priced.

Warm welcome upon arrival, was seated where we wanted to be sat and had excellent friendly service all night. The food was amazing all three course came in good time as well. Great atmosphere recommend all 100 Percent
