My absolute go-to, tell-all-my-friends-about takeaway. I’ve been going here for years and they consistently make me and friends very happy! The food is divine - a step above normal Chinese/Thai/Malaysian takeaway food in U.K. You can tell they use fresh ingredients cooked recently plus I’ve actually walked past during the day and seen with my own eyes the deliveries of piles of fresh vegetables!. My favourite dish is by far the Thai green curry, which has crispy-fresh green beans, generous aubergines, onions and chillis, feels like a home-cooked Thai meal. My flatmate loves the Malaysian satay dish. Also shout out to the people there who are always friendly, and the shop itself is clean and modern. Love this place, can’t recommend it enough.  Vegetarian options: The tofu options are great I opt for tofu over meat despite not being veggie

Best Chinese in Bristol. Have ordered from here several times and the quality is always perfect. It's a bit pricier so we treat ourselves to an Aromas for special occasions. Delivery usually 30-50 mins. They manage to find our hidden flat easily despite a lot of people struggling to find it! I highly recommend them.

Ho Fun, no fun. Upon entering, the place really smelt of burnt cooking oil, but we decided to give it a go.  We ordered Ho Fun which is thick noodles, and topped with vegetables, tofu, and a sauce. We also ordered prawn toast.  The prawn toast was just a soggy, oily mess, and tasted a bit strange.  The Ho Fun consisted of some glutinous blobs of noodles congealed at the bottom of the tub. The tofu was soggy and oily. The veg was ok, but the sauce was greasy and tasted of burnt oil. I ate it because I was hungry, but I just feel sick now. Really just not very good at all. Please go elsewhere.

Cannot understand the negative reviews here. We’ve been ordering for 2 years, love the food and just got off the phone with a lady who couldn’t have been more helpful… highly recommended

First time I have used Aromas, the food was outstanding, the delivery earlier than forecast and the delivery drivers was very pleasant. Definitely recommend and we will use them againFood: 5/5

Friendliest service and honestly one of the best chinese takeaways in Bristol!

Best 'Chinese' I've ever had, fresh & tasty, short wait & staff are very friendly. Definitely a quality place. I understand what the reviews are about with portion sizes but it's bearly smaller than normal, it's definitely enough with left overs or seconds.  Vegetarian options: Meat free options available, veggie dishes are great

We have been using Aromas for a long time but unfortunately our most recent experience will be the last. The food smelt of old oil, which we have also smelt outside the takeaway. All of the dishes were inedible apart from the egg fried rice, which is not good at all with a £50+ meal. Suggest that other people avoid.

Used to be a fantastic takeaway but recently the standards have noticeably slipped. Always used to order similar dishes probably too often than was good for us! but think I’ll give Aromas a miss now. Shame, as I said it used to be the best!

Normally don’t order Chinese takeaway in Bristol  as I have had many bad experiences with it being too greasy/ salty, but Aromas is brilliant. The food tasted really fresh and full of flavour, and was really good value.  Food came just before the expected delivery time which was a bonus, but I would have happily waited the full hour. Will definitely be ordering again!
