My parents tried to return a broken headboard today .well they spoke to the manager and he should not be anywhere in any form of retail never mind a manager his attitude and they way he spoke to my parents was abysmal. And accused them of not watching my son there grandson and blamed him .the headboard was not glued properly in the wooden joint the headboard is under warranty and the two ladys what was working there also blamed my son to which my mum said can you prove he's pulled out to which they all said no .people should avoid this store and by going on other feedback the store is a disgrace to argos
Very poor service. Ordered and paid for a Samsung tablet online to collect from my local store. Email came to advise that the product will be available to collect 9am the following day .went to collect but told it had been missed off the delivery but will be here at 4pm ,went back to collect and after a long wait told the order had been cancelled due to no stock and the moneywillbereturnedwithin the next 5 days . Don't understand how they can take the payments if they haven't got the products. Will not use Argos again. Purchased from Curry's, friendly service but sadly not local
Bizarre world. I paid over £700 on a few items here and needed a carrier bag to make sure I didn’t drop and break my purchase. I was told I had to pay for it. Unfortunately I didn’t have any cash on me and my card went missing earlier that day so I couldn’t pay for a poxy bag. I had to struggle out the shop carefully avoiding a throng of other customersnDo I love spending £700+ and being treated with contempt. Not really so I’ll avoid all Argos shops from now on.nWell done for driving away customers nMaybe a reevaluation of your policy is in order.
Twice now I've been handed returned products as new and had to refuse them, and ask for one where the factory seals are intact. This has happened on a google pixel pro, and ps5, so not insignificant items. Double check when collecting, you have been warned.
Actual store is fine, colleagues are polite. You'd think that such a massive company such as Argos could update their Google opening times though, wasted trip when they've shut an hour earlier than it says.nHopefully Google update the times now I've submitted a change for them, only been months for them to update it according to the paper notice.
