Absolutely appalling the customer service you get here. In fact customer service do they even know what it means!!. I came here to buy an expensive gift , it was just pushed towards me and they walked off, as I was walking out I checked the box it was torn and crushed with no selafain around it I took the perfume out and it had been used. I thought to myself are you kidding me?? Took it back in to then be greeted with a grunt and let me get some cellotape to fix the box. My jaw dropped. So I just said I'll get a refund forget it. So I was asked to re que while in the que staff were standing around talking ignoring customers and not serving, there was a que of 15 very unhappy customers. Finally got to the till to sort out what was given to me crushed and used. I asked the sales advisor Do you think this is in an acceptable state? Would you give someone this for a birthday present in the state you have given me it in? Because that's what I was buying it for. There attitude stank they couldn't be arsed and were just lazy. I then asked for the manager and ended up speaking to the area manager. Moral of the story treat people how you'd like to be treated. Customer service is a must. And if you don't like your job, then just LEAVE. Because I'm pretty sure someone else could do it a whole lot better. And for management its Very poor because if your staff are that unprofessional lazy and rude then YOU MANAGEMENT are not doing your job properly.!!!!

Customer service in this Argos store is very poor and the management are even worse.

Very friendly staff and you normally get what you order quickly but if like me you prefer to go to the till expect to wait. Use the selfserve and your ok.
