Pre orderd. So no problem.
Buying from Argos is easy, I'll admit that. However if you want anything in terms of after sale help, good luck. Bought a TV that didn't end up fitting on my stand, probably stupid of me but did it. Figured I'll just check the returns. The TV was out of the box for all of 10 minutes and now I cant return it as the bag that the remote was in was opened. Everything else was absolutely fine, but now that the TV remote bag has been opened, Argos claimed they could do nothing as it was my fault for making it in not unused condition. I'm well aware that some blame probably lies with me, but at the same time the lack of help and effort frankly astounds me.
Great shopping got all I needed
Haven't shopped in Argos since they stopped my Argos card. .Blackmail ,after all the money I've spent there over the years on my 10 grandchildren . Unless I spent something in the next 3 months my card was being stopped .So they stopped it . Dont think I will shop there again .

Great "click and collect" service here. Always efficient helpful staff. Never had a problem with returns either.
Nice and easy, never have a problem and the staff are always polite and helpful. Most recently when I returned with a problem they couldnt do enough to reassure me that I could be refunded and without hassle they did exactly what I wanted. It's nice in this day and age that some companies can be so flexible and accomodating.
Quick service for picking up a reservation
I ordered an electric hob and an undercounter fridge and freezer. They were delivered on 1st Nov 2012 but I could not install hob as kitchen was not ready. I installed about 23rd Nov but hob never worked properly , so finally on 18th Dec I called Argos and on 19th Dec they sent a repairman. All well and good, but as he could not fix it he ordered a part. Every 2-3 days I called the repair depot and eventually 18th Jan 2013 they said they did not know when it would arrive. I got in touch with Argos who told me not to take it to store I ordered from but to await collection and 5 days later I would receive refund. On 27 jan they collected and after 7 days I complained and was told to go to store and they would pay. They could not and I am still waiting for part of my refund. 13 Feb
What a mess around with Argos insurance.I have rang Argos then other number to ring other company that do insurance and now i got to do the leg work again ring and order the repair man for the fridge freezer myself.What the insurance company should be doing.?!?!.I did once had high regard for Argos.
