Bought on-line, had an email when ready to collect. Dedicated on-line collection point, so very little wait. I miss the catalogue, I know that getting rid of them was a green move and also saves the company money. However, I miss picking one up and browsing it with my wife at home, not the same feeling lookng at the website no chance of an accident discovery.
Looks old and tired and not much in stock most of it is next day delivery save your time and buy online amazon prime
Nooo customer service u can call and call and nobody will answer the phone but standing there lile some idiots having a chat
Customer service is very good but be aware they sometimes sell used returns as new items. This has happened three times now, most recently a drinks machine with finger marks and scratches on. The only other one in stock also seemed to be a return as the box wasn't sealed and the customer service person had to wipe off fingerprints from the replacement but rather than wait five days or so for a refund I took the offered replacement as aside from prints it was fine. Check boxes are sealed and you should be fine, if it hadn't happened three times so far it would be five stars as all the staff there are very good and do a good job. They are actually the only reason I still use Argos because I know if I have an issue like that or a faulty item they will sort it promptly in store.
We had a problem with a smartwatch, the strap had worn within a few months and started coming apart, but Courtney made the process of sorting the problem very easy and gave us a new watch. Thank you for making the experience so easy to deal with Courtney, great customer service!
Worst customer service for returning an item. They make you feel like you are a criminal for returning an item. I returned a simple £17 mobile phone that I bought for my elderly parent only half an hour after buying it because it was too small for him to see the text on the screen. I wanted to return it and swap for a bigger Dora Phone. The stuck up grumpy service rep scrutinized the packaging, the phone, the wires, even told her colleagues to get another so that she could compare packaging. Jobsworth. Her other colleagues were very nice and polite to customers. She needs to go on a customer service course.
We bought a bike at the cardiff bay store today at 1151 for my son to get to work in penarth they told us it would be delivered between 2 and 6 oclock it was £189.99 plus £4.00 delivery by 5.30 my husband decided to pnone to see if it was on its way we were told that it had been cancelled however nobody had informed us even thogh they had a phone number and email address they said they would refund us the delivery charge straight away but it would take 3 days to refund the rest They could not even tell us why it had been cancelled because the store was now closedso we are going over there tomorrow to see if they can give us more infformation
Unacceptable. I went there to buy just a game that was age restricted with my national ID and the lady there said that my ID does not have some "pass" that she wanted. I showed her clearly that i am more than 18, but she didn't even care. Hope that policy it's gonna be changed. It's the only place in the entire country where they don't accept my ID
Pretty standard for an Argos store. Large, spacious and bright store, lots of self service or manned checkouts and seating while you wait. This store has ample parking as its part of the Cardiff Bay shopping complex with a number of disabled bays right outside.
Bought 4 boxes of "warm white" christmas lights which turned out to be cold white when I plugged them in. Arrogant cashier and manager wouldn't allow me to return them, even though they were in their original packaging. Plugging something in means it's "used" apparently. Took them back to a different branch, which accepted them fine. The store is a huge waste of space, and the staff need a reality check. Will probably be closed soon I'd imagine. Good riddance.
