Established in November 2005 Argent Taxis is Stratford upon Avon longest serving independent Taxi Company.

Story

Based a mile from the town centre we offer a Prompt, Efficient, Friendly, Reliable service. The VW Transporter Shuttle LWB 1 - 7 seater is ideal for Airport transfers and now its little sister the VW Caddy Maxi offers a similar facility for 1 4 passengers, Corporate and all Social events etc. All Hackney fares are metered from point of pick up all pre quoted work is quoted to the shortest route and Transporter fares pre quoted.

Called at 6:45 for a taxi at 7:20, argent taxi's are based on Birmingham road and my fare would have been from the parkway train station to the main teach on Birmingham road, the man on the phone questioned me why I wanted the taxi which confused me so I said I need to get to tesco of course, the man then went on to say he wouldn't want to do that and when I asked why he seemed shocked, you hire a taxi and the drive you somewhere, he then went on about how he's not really going to make any money from it and it's well out of his way! it's up the road for gods sake! So when commented that his attitude and manners on the phone aren't going to get him any fares he then laughed and said he would love to see me get a taxi to do that fare, I've done this trip previously with 007 taxi's, Ideal taxis and many more, and further more I took on his challenge and now have a taxi at the station waiting for me, thanks argent taxi's! I hope you understand your attitude will bring your company to a very quick end! :)
