Camden is the crown of food vendors. Whenever I go to Camden I always eat from this place because the food from South America is AMAZING! The owners are absolutely fantastic and extremely friendly plus the service was second to none at the Camden Market! I got the beef arepas and it was extremely fresh and scrumptious! The Arepa is soft, the meat is juicy and tender plus the guacamole is flavourful. Muchas gracias y Dios Te Bendiga cien por ciento
Whenever I go to Candem I always eat from this place. They make delicious Arepas and the service is nice. The price has increased over the past year hence my four starts. I'm not sure if it's because everything is more expensive now, and I get that, or because I went in a very busy day. There was a sticker placed on top of the original price, what makes me think they change the price depending on how busy they are?!. Overall, they serve great food, and I'm sure I'll be back as usual.
Super fresh and tasty! And all gluten free. Wonderful staff too!
Camden is the gem of food vendors and people watching. No wait time and the ladies serving were lovely and kind. The food was okay, I am gf so I got the beef arepas corn and quinoa bun which was decent but hard to eat without spilling the top and feeding the pigeons. I also wanted more flavour but I’m sure I would give it another shot for the rice bowl.
First time trying this but I was blown away with it. Outstanding quality of ingredients and so fresh. Excellent that it was also gluten free! I will definitely be returning and bringing others to try!Food: 5/5
Unfortunately not a good idea to eat here. Arepas are just wrong, believe me I know arepas. Having lived in Venezuela for 30 years, this is just a bad experiment, they tried but couldn't. I saw some arepas and plaintains in the bin when sadly I went to throw mine in. The meat is submerged in water until you order, then it goes on the flat grill and into your arepa while dripping water. Just wrong. With massive effort you could eat it, but the service you get there is plain awful. I know it's a food market and not a Michelin star restaurant but food should be at least decent and the people whose business you're supporting shouldn't be rude and patronizing. Never coming back here, you would be better off going to Arepa & Co... a thousand times better! truly authentic, fantastic food and exceptional service there. I have no afiliation to any of these places, but I've tried every single arepa place in London, never coming back to this one.
Sorry but this was terrible. Greasy, too hard to bite into and seriously over priced. I had to throw it in the bin. Unfortunately, as a local it’s a hard review to write. The market is great but this was unacceptable. Customer service was lacking. Asked for no pico de gallo..he doubled it. I checked to make sure there was plantain included as per the menu..he’d removed it :/ trying to order with a basic request was the hardest thing ever..and i was the only customer there! The fillings were flavourless which is probably why he added the pico de gallo i wanted removed..full of onion. No idea what happened yesterday but sadly, this was a disappointment to arepas everywhere. And £9! For something inedible.. Never again
I come to eat here whenever I am in London. Absolutely delicious!Food: 5/5
Camden Food market is definitely an experience - and worth a visit if you’re in London. Arepazo Bros Is among the most recommended food stalls all over the place. To some extent I fully agree, to some extent, I disagree, therefore 3 out of 5 stars. If you don’t know what Arepas are: Coming from Venezuela, It’s more or less small breads baked with corn flour, that are filled with meat or vegetables, beans, pico de gallo and cheese. Sounds quite simple? It isn’t, because the composition and balance decides whether they are just a chunk of stuff, heavy in your stomach, or taste savoury and delicious. Arepazo Bros made a good job here, especially the Pabellon, but not outstanding. The beef was nice, chicken not so much as it was too watery, without much taste or flavored. But the fried plantain was great. All in all, a bit to much saucy, too much fat. And therefore almost impossible to eat. But worth a try.
One of the best options at Camden Market. Arepa is soft, meat is juicy and tender, guac is flavourful. One of the healthiest options there.
