Really lovely guest house, we just stay one night on our way to Lewis and Harris. It had everything we could have needed and more. Even a rather delicious slice of cake waiting foe us in our room, which we enjoyed with a tea.

Ayesha, our host, was wonderful! Despite arriving late our first night, she was a cheerful and welcoming host, setting out tea and coffee and milk for us, plus she had already turned on the towel-heater in the bathroom, anticipating our desire for hot showers that evening. Ardlair is a wonderful home, beautifully situated outside of town, overlooking Loch Broom. We loved our king-bed room and ensuite bathroom, and the small touches, like a couple of drams of scotch waiting for us in the room, fresh-cut fruit during breakfast, and flexible, welcoming service throughout. The hot breakfast was freshly prepared, very tasty, and bigger than the other places we stayed. We would highly recommend Ardlair and considered it one of our favorites during our 11 day trip in Scotland.
