Having being under the care of Dr Cairns for the past 2 years , I would like to say a big thank you for the way she has treated me with much compassion. She is an excellent doctor & so approachable & always happy to give you her time. I would also like to thank all reception staff & nurses for all their work also.
Impossible to book a telephone appointment. I’ve been calling theee days in a row 8:00am and I was already number 31 in the queue. Patients health is like a lottery. The lucky ones get treated
Understanding the chaos caused by COVID-19, but the appointment system needs to be improved Not everyone has time to call the GP at 8 am, and after waiting in line for half an hour been told that there is no appointment today. Please try again next time.
Stay away from this surgery at all cost. In my opinion, Most of the doctors are really good but the reception staff, practice manager Angela Owens and Dr Janson are the the most unprofessional people I have ever come across. The reception staff are normally to busy blethering amongst themselves and gossiping to acknowledge patients and when they do, they are rude and arrogant, Angela Owens doesn't care about the practice nor it's patients concerns and most certainly is not fit to manage a medical practice. Very concerning. She to is also incredibly rude. As for Dr Janson, one of the most belittling people I have ever met. Came out of both of my appointments with him and cried due to how patronising and dismissive he is. When asked why he was issuing and signing prescriptions under other doctors names, he became verbally aggressive in his mannor and became very rude. Will be talking issue further but if you want professional doctors that actually care and treat you like a normal human being then do not register with this practice. Its an absolute disgrace and its practices and how they treat patients desperately needs to be investigated by the health board.
Can't get the flu vaccine for my son yet again. Husband was told they had them in you have to wait for them to decide when they will get you in ie a letter to go out. What a joke my son could become very ill if he gets the flu. They couldn't care less
Disappointing service recently. Dad was losing blood, nurse finally came and did a blood test. GP never showed up. Got results a few days later , saying he needed a transfusion - by then he was already in A&E due to the issue and was already getting the transfusion
The doctors & nurses are very nice & very helpful,Also the girls at the reception are very nice they are also very good looking.Because one of them had a very cute smile & i gave her a wave before i left.
Waited for 50 minutes on line and I was 11 in the queue then at the end they could not hear me very well, I had to shout load to hear me. Then I couldn't get a home visit for red flagged patient. Very very disappointed.
Dr Barr is a great doctor, who listened and explains very well, he's really good and has a lot of time for patients
Gave blood yesterday afternoon for my diabetis check , doctor phoned me with results this morning sheer class nhs
