A great little Market, my favourite stall is the fresh veg stall, fantastic produce and much better value than supermarkets. Service with a smile too and an almost guaranteed cheeky comment if you are buying a single carrot!
I guess it’s seasonal, but I was here mid august and there were 4 stalls, pretty lame. I guess when the summer holiday ends it’s more impressive
Beautiful. Not much people come to the market but this place is so comfortable .
Various stalls including vegetables, cheeses, books - some stalls fluctuate but during summer most are in situ. The location suffers from high winds - stall holders pinning down their stands. There is an excellent Greek food takeaway stand - well worth a try.
Worst market to trade in, management VERY aggressive and she charged me £50 for a 3x3 space. When I started asking everyone else what they paid, all 3x3 stalls said £30. 2nd week I went which was today, she charged me £35 for the same 3x3 stall!!!! Management should change as all she thinks about is her own stall and argues with all the other sellers! Disgrace to Islington council for putting such a creature in charge!
Great place to discover French traditional food and Greek style BBQ SNACKS. With books and clothes on offer there really is plenty to choose from. Worth a visit!
DEFINITELY WORTH A VISIT if you like French cheeses, hams, salamis and pates ... everything is delicious there and the service is excellent. I bought some raclette cheese and was gifted some truffled cheese to try with the raclette. It was amazing ! My husband is a big fan of the pâtes. I have gone back every Saturday since moving here and the service from ‘Chez Francis & Sylvie’ son and mother is always excellent. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND !
Small scale but excellent stalls with fantastic produce. Well worth swinging by on a Saturday. Hope the fruit and vegetable stall back soon
The guy selling books made a killing, better sci fi selection than Waterstones! I spent £50+ on 14/15 books and don't regret a penny!
Very small market with less than 10 stalls, but cute and nice! Also during summer there are some happenings, so if you love near by it worth a visit
