Alexandra Palace farmers market is an extremely good one, offering lots of stalls of pre-cooked food, vegetables etc. Always interesting, it is held mostly at the entrance to Alexandra Palace grounds but occasionally, like today, it is held at a local school about 10 minutes walk away. Both offer mainly the same stalls and it's nice to see a difference sometimes.
My fav weekly appointment. Produce and offering is delightful. Absolutely love the mushroom, pasta, chutney and farm stands. Look for the Welsh cakes
Not too bad. The food looks good, but it wasn't very farmers the day I went, more like cooks and bakers and some crafts.
Ah this is a great place which me and girlfriend visit almost every Sunday. It has a long array or food stalls, gifts, drinks etc. Everytime we go there we grab something to eat which has always been delicious, and if you walk beyond that, past the stalls, there is a huge park which we go afterwards with my dog. Dogs are most certainly welcome as there are about as many dogs as people. It is a lovely place to grab a Sunday lunch and for a walk when the weather is good.
Nice little market, jerk chicken from the West Indian food stall was delicious. Good bread and cake stalls. The olive stall must be great but the queue was so long we didn’t have time to wait. Watch out for the guy selling wild mushrooms at £5/100gms who says I give you 20gms extra then charges you for them. Definitely be back but I’ll get my mushrooms elsewhere!!
Love this market a foodies destination. I particularly love the vegetarian burgers of bean and bun. Absolutely tasty and reasonable priced at about £6:00. The fries are not.home.made.but it is still worth it. I also.love the Greek products market stall, I bought the olive oil, the olives.and.the honey. Absolutely amazing taste and value for.money. I also love the flowers I buy a bunch or two.every week.they smell beautifully. I also love the crepes and the pizza. Is a fantastic market well worth a visit. Please note that sometimes the market takes place at a school close to Alexandra palace.
Quaint farmers market at the edge of Alexandra Palace park making it easy to access by car or bus. Good selection of 20-ish different stalls, ranging from meat products, cheese, beverages, baked goods, fresh produce and cooked meals.
It was smaller than I expected, though there were still a variety of stalls. Meats, produce, cheeses, etc. available. If you’re looking for cooked food, breads, pastries, etc., you can get that, too. Vegans can find something, as well. My husband and I enjoyed a quick lunch. Friendly vendors and a laidback atmosphere. I wonder if more stalls are set up during the warmer months.
They could definitely do with a few more good stalls here. Having said that, they have the basics - good quality veg stall, wine, honey, oils, fudge, meats, - the usual suspects and three of four freshly cooked food stalls. Doesn't compare to somewhere like Broadway Market, but worth a visit if you're in the area.
Lovely farmers market, lots of fresh produce as well as nice coffee, baked goods, hot food, and lovely little treats. Plus it’s great to support small businesses :
