Authentic Italian cuisine near the meat market. Wonderful place to stop for lunch while site seeing in the neighborhood. Easy to share, generous portions, tasty food and reasonable prices. It can get busy so a reservation is helpful but they will try and squeeze you in.Food: 5/5
Had a lovely meal at Apulia. Food was really authentic and delicious. Lots of dairy free options for lactose intolerant foodies which was great! The pasta I had was really fresh. It was a tad too hot in the restaurant but it was a busy Saturday night. Would highly recommend Dietary restrictions: Lots of dairy free and gluten free options!
Authentic Italian cuisine in the city. Waiters were attentive and service was quick! Great place to share a pizza when exploring the City of London area. We shared the Polignano pizza but the pasta did look fantastic. I’ll try that next time I visit.Food: 5/5
We stumbled op this gem at 10:00 pm after a very long day of walking London, after returning to our pub-hotel and learning the kitchen closes at 9:30. They took mercy and seated us. Gin & Tonic was delicious. Rosé wine, too. Caprino salad was the best salad we had ever eaten. Truffle ravioli was delicious. Great place!Food: 5/5
First visit and quite confident I will return. Food was very tasty and the service attentive, which I do not take for granted. The atmosphere was noisy as it was fully packed and overall, this is a great restaurant to eat and fly away quickly, not to chill down there. Prices are high in relation with the portions, I have seen this strategy of pushing customers into small plates to raise the bill, if the portions were bigger it would be 5 stars
A delightful place in the city near Farringdon station. An intimate restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and very nice staff. The food was equally nice. The bruscetta offered a beautiful variety of flavours and the buratta was tasty. The truffle ravioli were delicious albeit a bit thin on the ground. The two pizzas we had were plentifully garnished with a lovely crust. The wine selection was great too. The tiramisu was amazing, as was the cherry cake, although it didn't come with Chantilly as described. The only downside was the ladies toilets having no running water at the sink.
Lovely food, we have the two fish options, sea bass and the fish fillet. The fish was fresh and not overcooked. The focaccia was also good but I couldn’t really taste the olive oil, it came as like a mini pizza. It’s nice but a bit unexpected. The staff was friendly and I think I will come back again!
I visited this restaurant in January 2024 on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant was packed and we made a booking and I highly recommend that you make a booking to avoid being turned down. The food is adequate and probably a bit overpriced for what you get. I tasted the ravioli al tartufo and the pizza modugno. The ravioli was swimming in cheese fat which was not great. The pizza was better but the crust felt a bit bland and there was too much rocket on it. Writing the review the day after my stomach still feels a bit weird. On the positive, I was impressed by the service and by attention to detail. For example, for the ravioli al tartufo I was given a small grated cheese jar to add as much cheese as I wanted although from the description above I did not use any due the abundance of cheese fat. One other point that the managers need to pay attention is insulation of the premises. I was sitting at a table by the window and you could feel a draft of air constantly at your back. One of the people in my group had to wear his winter jacket on to keep warm but that is not what you expect from a restaurant charging the prices that it does.
Delicious fresh pasta, exactly what we were craving. Nice relaxing atmosphere, good service.Food: 5/5
This is a gem, great food and service, best to book as it gets busy. The truffle ravioli was spectacular!Food: 5/5
