I went to this restaurant for the first time with my family for a meal after visiting a nearby attraction, I was deeply disappointed after our food order came out wrong after waiting over 50 minutes, we had ordered a pepper and mushroom pizza and got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, I had to order jacket potatoes instead as the pizzas take 30 mins to cook. One of the waiters came out and gave me 2.00 the difference in money from pizza to jackets and was told the guy took the order down wrong and he was sorry. My response was saying that was not good enough. I did get the two pizzas refunded. I am not happy however as when we entered we felt a little uncomfortable and were told to order and pay for food at the bar when was clear other tables did not have to do so and also when we left two customers made a comment to my sons who are only 11 and 9 and they were upset as they were laughed at! Not happy with the service we received and how we were made to feel. Border line racist to be honest and I am one to never complain and never play race card but when my 9 and 11 year old tell me they were looked at funny and made to feel funny without understanding why I am not having it. I am British and would never treat anyone like this and don’t expect it in 2018! The food was very nice and with regret I say I will not be returning or recommending. It has been a good 15 years since I have felt like this and I am not very happy to say the least!

Our local eating place never lets us down! Great service from great staff & great food. We call in regularly but last night we booked a table for 4 for our wedding Anniversary with friends. We had waitress service which was such a lovely surprise & made us feel really special. Thank you for a lovely evening 👍🏼

Cracking pint!! Very reasonably priced!! Quick service even with the place was nearly full! The food was stunning!!!!!!! I had the Appleby Stack Burger and the wife had chicken bbq melt! Very highly recommend this place! Can't wait to back!!!

Love this place. Value for money on food and drinks. The rooms at the inn are massive and also good value with breakfast.

Had a meal there and value for money is great but unfortunately you could tell the food was frozen and deep fried and extra salty. The decor is a little dated also. Not sure I'd visit again but if you want quantity over quality then this is for you
