Absolutely fantastic stay at Apple Acres. Beautiful, convenient, quiet spot and good showers. Fabulous peaceful grounds, mowed grass with lovely trees, absolutely idyllic. Will definitely go back and soon I hope because if we could have, we would have loved to have stayed another day. Thoroughly recommended.

Well i have read reviews on this site saying how nice it is . Was.booked on here for 2 weeks only managed 5 days . Why you ask well let me tell you 1 . Grounds are constantly water logged 2. No lighting around site . 3. 10 amp hook up ( yeah right will let you no more on that in a moment ) 4. If you want a shower run water for 10 minutes prior to getting in . Although they are clean . So back to 10 amp hook up. Can only run 1 thing at a time so if we were using the microwave everything else had to be turned off . So whilst thos was going no heating etc . Tried to boil a kettle in the morning eventually it did boil after resetting trip switch 3 or 4 times . Please bear in mind this is a brand new motor home and the site we were prior to this was 10 amp and we were able to run a whole lot more than this and i mean a lot . When i asked the lady on site who i believe was owner or warden about this she said you can only run 1 thing at a time on 10 amp and didnt know what to suggest ( thanks for your help then ) . So all i can say is i will not return here and for £21 a night it is an absolute crock of rubbish So if you are booked here dont say i never warned you . Many thanks.

Really lovely campsite set on a fairly level site within an apple orchard. Friendly hosts, fantastic showers. Walking distance to Tonbridge. Some noise from aircraft, but that wasn't a problem for us.

I am replying to comments on miss whites review Firstly your first few replys are full of sarcasm that's good for buisness . Secondly in the review she did not say she ran all electric appliances at once on previous site although we were able to run a kettle without it tripping more than we could on there. So therefore I don't believe we have a problem with motorhome or previous site. So maybe your site needs checking. We did not move pitches because of tripping we moved because of the gentleman next to us presumably going out and coming in at funny hours doing his work. ( fair play to him ). Never did she have a conversation with you saying we are new to this as we had caravans previous to motorhome so no we don't have a lot to learn . Next to one of your reply you mention waiting for water and maybe she had not turned water on what a stupid reply and again sarcasm. Like she said in her review she did speak to a lady whom she now knows live there and her reply was you can run 1 thing at a time and don't know what to suggest . So the site was aware we were having problems . To just leave was the best thing to do as another night on this site was not an option. Sorry if you don't understand why we got gripes with this site but my only reply to this is it is in My opinion a very poor site. We are now on a site with 10 amp hook up and guess what we can boil a kettle and run other things without it tripping so no fault on our motorhome or site so maybe it is your site .I will await a sarcastic reply as this will do wonders I guess for your buisness.

We were very happy to have chosen such a lovely site for our first caravan experience. Small and very peaceful. The owners were friendly and helpful. We also have an elderly dog and he enjoyed his walks in the orchard and fields. Hot showers, washing up facilities. Will definitely be going back.
