An overall good experience. Interesting menu, opted for pasta as the pizza options didn’t really interest us. Arancini was delicious. Pasta was alright. Cool interior, loved the plates. Staff were really great and helpful.
Antonietta features a flamboyant design infused with friendly Italian hospitality while honouring the strong, extroverted, and passionate nature of the much-loved Italians. Its Instagram-friendly and not too expensive made ideally for the younger crowd. It seats up to 140 guests and serves up fun Italian cuisine. Food is served on hand painted plates from Amalfi and include inventive pizza toppings, large bowls of steaming pasta and some lovely smaller Italian bites. Their cocktails are spot on! Worth a visit or two.
Really lovely eatery. We were spur of the moment booking after a few birthday cocktails and were in dire need of a substantial bite to eat in a comfortable environment. We were not disappointed. The staff were really friendly and the decor is gorgeous. The food was effing delicious and I had the BEST tiramisu I have ever tasted.
Had walked by this place a few times since opening and wondered if the interior would be too loud if I was eating here, but it was actually very pleasant. Staff were very knowledgeable about the food and extremely attentive. The food itself was very good. Pasta was cooked al dente and my beef and nduja had a bit of spice, as expected, that was soothed nicely with creamy ricotta. Good sized portion and lovely crockery. The focaccia was a bit disappointing as it was far too heavy, but would definitely revisit
Visited Antonietta for lunch on Saturday and we had a great experience. We had the calamari and the mozzarella fried in pastry as a starter. Both were delicious but the aioli with the calamari was so good! For mains we had the lasagne pizza, beef carpaccio pizza and the gnocchi. All three mains were delicious! The service was super fast and friendly and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend going if you’’re in the market for a new Italian
Loved it here! We dined on an opening 50% off food deal so our meal was amazing value. Prices not bad anyways. The courgette pizza was very good Very cool decor and crockery. Attentive staff!
The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Atmosphere/decor was refreshing. Food was fantastic! We had the Bruschetta, Gnocchi antonietta with Italian sausage, squid ink risotto with calamari and spinach specials menu, truffle and parmesan fries and last but not least the strawberry crostata. Every dish was well balanced and cooked perfectly, would definitely recommend!
Fabulous authentic Italian pizza. I enjoyed a delicious Make it Pop pizza - with cream of roasted tomatoes, charred broccolini, mixed peppers, & fried purple potatoes. This is NOT your run-of-the-mill Italian!! Incredibly flavoursome - distinctly different! With a really moreish warming red wine - NERO D'AVOLA IGT Terre Siciliane, Molino a Vento. Fabulous service by the fantastic CHARLIE. Please ask for her by name!! Great night, great food, great atmos, good price - THANK YOU GUYS!!!!
Best pasta place we’ve found in Edinburgh nduja and tomato-pancetta both nice, and a great margarita pizza too. Lovely wines. Fun, colourful decor.
Nice place with kind people, professional service and delicious italian meal. There is a good IPA beer as well.
