Light in the room and bathroom defect due to short circuit. Late in the evening we were given a new room. Here only 1 chair for 3 people. No table available in this room. Also the night light is defective. In the hotel also no opportunity to dine and have breakfast. Very friendly and helpful receptionist and bar staff.

I had booked one night with me and my partner and moment I got in the place it looked nice but the moment I got into my room it was a nightmare I thought I was dreaming the shower of the head lid fell off and the beds were pink mark stains and the kettle didn't work and the telly didn't work the room was freezing and they had given us twin beds.! Didn't get breakfast after saying it was inclusive.

Staff were great and the drinks were reasonably priced but the bar feels like it would have been cool 15 years ago. Although it was relatively early the place was dead too.

No heating on beer off and not enough bar staff. Won't be rushing back.

I've been meaning to post this for a couple of weeks so apologies for the delay but we booked the smaller room of the 2 function rooms for a retirement do on March 17th and we can't fault the place. The staff were just lovely and the staff member on that night (I think it was john(?) Worked so hard to provide a great service and he was just so helpful, friendly and a gent. Couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful. The room we had us a great size and you actually get 2 private areas for 1 as you get the room with a private bar with nice comfy chairs in addition to the function room itself. As I say, couldn't have been better and it's a perfect size for a private gathering. We had around 40 people there and it was perfect. Full marks all round! It's the 2nd time we have used this space and it's a bit of a hidden gem. Yay!
