Came with family for breakfast on Sunday. By 1100h there were not enough sausages and could only have one despite paying for a Ultimate Breakfast. 25 minutes for pancakes and egg Benedict, too long.the crispy bacon had to be sent back as wasn't crispy. The breakfast was tasty enough but the eggs Benedict sauce tastes like vinegar, not good. The "bottomless coffee" ended at 1125h. The place is nice and the playing area a plus.Will consider trying the desserts/ice cream but certainly not coming back for breakfast.

If I could give it negative stars I would! Absolutely appalling. Waited an hour for the food to come, and a poor excuse for a burger that was freezing cold turned up, a ploughman’s lunch that had two of the smallest pieces of cheese with little flavour, a tiny slither of ham and no salad dressing on the salad. Then a fish and chips which was incredibly greasy, and they had forgotten the mushy peas. And then a dry beef and ale pie with loads of grissle and no flavour. Wasn’t too sure it was real “Mash” with it and the vegetables were so unbelievably over cooked they were grey. My burger was so cold and had a tiny amount of freezing mac and cheese and one measly grey “burnt end” I had to get a refund as it was inedible! Incredibly overpriced, incredibly terrible food, incredibly terrible service, will never ever return. Please don’t waste your money or time with this place!

I went here for the first time recently. The layout of the place and the overall feel is very good, I'm guessing by the looks of it that this place is a new establishment. I got the standard carvery meal deal which is £6.95 by memory and you get 3 choices of meat, vegetables and a yorkie pudding. The food was very good and it's very filling for the money I paid, value for money. Where this place goes wrong is the bar staff and how they manage the crowd. There should be one line for lager and one line for people ordering food. I waited around 20 minutes just to get 1 lager. I think half the problem here is that they are understaffed in the bar area and the other half is they have a silly system where they only have the one queue. I will come back again as overall it was a good experience but they need to fix how they serve customers.

Amazing and delicious. I highly recommend this place as it is not often very busy and the food is prepared very quickly. This place is well known for its heavenly carvery, if you are here then I recommend the carvery, it is the best I've ever had. The staff are very helpful and kind.

I came in on a Tuesday night in a party of 9 and was struggling to find a seat, but a very nice gentleman from the carvery got someone to help straight away. I had to wait 15 mins at the bar to order as 1 poor lad was left on his own serving and once o got the found out that they were out of both steak and ribs (the 2 things I wanted😢). Food was out promptly but again when ordering pud this took a long time and the had a long wait for them to come out. Good quality was good but oil could halve done with a clean as batter and chips were very dark. Overall. Staff 10/10 service 4/10 food 6/10. Value 8/10
