I like this store as it's local to me and the staff are all really helpful and friendly, the only down side is the cost, slightly more expensive than other angling stores and don't seem to have sales. Been fly fishing for a long time however not been sea fishing for long, started tying my own rigs now but I did buy lots for a while and the cheapest rigs in active angling you are looking at 50p more than the cheapest in the big Glasgow or Edinburgh competitors however I would rate the quality the same. Always have good bait and fly selections 🎣

Really good help from assistant he showed me how to tie droppers from the line plus the o rings in packet very small by the way I'm not the man with the 30 black flies

Always plenty of gear to spend your pennies on good knowledgeable staff to keep you right ,fly tying section is well stocked ,every discipline of fishing catered for

Hi Thomas, A few weeks ago I spoke to you and then sent a pair of Gray’s Strata waders back to you. I then went away on holiday and when I returned three weeks later, I was thinking about getting in touch with you to see what progress there had been. I was delighted to discover a new pair of waders were delivered less than a week after I posted the original ones to you. The service was exceptional! Thank you very much for resolving the matter so quickly. I will certainly let my fishing friends know about this. Adrian
