Great service, got me out of a hole when a rival firm failed to show for a booking I had made a few hours earlier. Rang Angela's and they were out to me very quickly and got me to where I needed to be more or less on time, despite my last minutecall to them, thanks!
This is the worst taxi company I have ever booked. I booked a return trip from Burford to Oxleaze Barn for a wedding we were attending on the 20th May 2022. I booked the return trip 3 days ahead. The person I spoke to on the phone took all the details and confirmed my booking. On the day they never arrived, I waited 30 minutes and called them 6 times, they never picked up my calls…..eventually the hotel I was staying at The Lamb in Burford called Sue at RoadRunner, she turned up 15 minutes later and took us there and back. Sue from RoadRunner was great and I highly recommend her. Never ever ever book with Angela’s Taxis as they take your booking but don’t arrive….. ever…….Service: Limousines
AVOID AVOID AVOID. We called up to book a taxi only to have ‘oh for god sake…what time?’ said over the phone. They proceeded to be incredibly rude and unhelpful. I hope you go out of business because your customer service is appalling.
A taxi company with no local knowledge of the area and astonishingly rude- would rather walk than give them business. Politeness costs nothing - their rude reputation is well deserved.
Booked a pick up to go from Witney to JR hospital, Oxford. Arrived prompt and smooth drive to JR calmed my nerves. Friendly driver turned out to be Angela herself. After day surgery Angela picked up my partner from home and bought, over to JR, collected me and returned us both to Witney. Very reasonable fare. Nothing could have been better. A big thank you.
Do not use this company. We had a booking for a minibus to take us to a wedding. Despite having confirmation over the phone and a text from them a few days previously confirming the booking, they didn't turn up. I phoned them and they were very unhelpful and not at all apologetic, and kept saying the taxi was nearly there but it got to 40 minutes late and we had to drive ourselves as it still hadn't shown up. I phoned them to check they were definitely turning up for our return journey at 1 am and they assured me they were, but when it got to 1 am they weren't there. When I phoned up they claimed they had no record of our booking! We were left in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night scrambling to try and find taxis for a large group. If the wedding venue hadn't been so wonderful and saved us who knows what could have happened. Absolutely outrageous.
Great price for a great taxi service!
