I've been using Angel Plumbing for many years and have been entirely satisfied each time they have done work for me. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Overall, my experience has been painful and if you require something urgent, this won’t be your best option. Expect to call multiple times to know what’s happening and what’s not happening, slow service and absolutely no empathy or ownership of mistakes. From my experience on the one off job I got : - “We’ll call you back…” or “we’ll be back in an hour…”, but never call me back or came back on the same day happened 5 times - No shows 2 times - Came to the property without bring the parts necessary for the job that has been on their radar for 3 weeks 1 time I am giving them 2 stars cause the plumber is knowledgeable, but the business processes and quality of the service is a solid 1 star. The no shows are particularly painful because you are expected to be the whole day in the property. When you book you don’t get a time at all obviously enough, if you have to reschedule you have to spend another whole day in the property.
So grateful to Ian and his team for assisting with a prolonged issue with my boiler cylinder. Very good response rate and I felt supported until everything was 100% sorted. Be weary. The last plumber dropped a gasket down the side of my cistern. Instead of trying to retrieve or replace the missing gasket he quietly told me everything was fixed. A few days later the cistern leaked all over the place while I was away for 2 weeks on holiday. I found the missing gasket on closer inspection.
I've been having a leak in my bathroom and I wanted the source found. The plumber did not find the source of the leak, and suggested to reseal the shower, which seemed like a random course of action to take when the problem was not properly identified. I thought the charge was excessive given the problem was not identified and the measure was only some silicon seal was excessive. There was no follow up on whether my leak had stopped. I won't be using Angel Plumbing Services again.
This is a local established company that was recommended to me by my neighbour. Angel Plumbing were professional, reassuring and efficient. The problem was determined after an investigation and the solution implemented effectively. I will be using Angel Plumbing again and recommend their services. The cost was reasonable and the way they dealt with the job gave me confidence in them.
Really disappointing experience. After coming to fix my water cylinder, my tenant was left without hot water for a week. When the plumber came back to fix that problem it turned out that he had drained the hot water without refilling the tank. Instead of an apology I got another bill on top of the very expensive original bill for the follow up visit. They hassled my tenants so much for payment that eventually I had to pay a reduced fee to get them to go away. Avoid!!
Charged for a premium Tap of £200.00 plus to replace the Tap that was there and fitted a Tap from Screwfix that you can buy for £56.99. Never finished the job, hot water not running and failed to turn up upon three appointments to complete the installation. Disgraceful, I now have to sue them for the £504.00 they took off my Debit Card Up-Front to do the Job.
The initial fitting of the bathroom was very good which is why I haven't given them one star. However just over a year later the shower began to leak. After several visits most were at least an hour late for the original appointment they finally fixed the problem. They charged me £400 initially reduced by £80 to £320 finally to fix the problem possibly caused by initial shoddy workmanship. The worst thing was that no quote or estimate was given to me for the work in the first place leading me to think it might be covered by the initial guarantee. I'm especially disappointed as I was hoping I'd found a reliable and efficient plumbing firm.
I got back from 3 weeks holiday to find I had no heating or hot water and the boiler was not functioning. One call to Angel Plumbing Services and only a few minutes crying over the phone produced Danny who came in 20 minutes, found the problem low water pressure and a small leak, replaced the offending part, showed me how to fix the problem in the future and left me with everything in working order. Big should out all round. I'll never use any other plumbing services. Thank you!!!
