Surprisingly easy to get to. The A1 N and take J66 to Kibblesworth. House is not so easy to find. No 53 is in the corner. I start with 5* and deduct as necessary. The look of the garden is lovely and the size of it is very big. Huge choice of food, equipment and of course fish. The range of plants is adequate. But for customer service skills I’d give him 1/10. A fair reflection of that is a deduction of 3*. He was helpful but his attitude was terrible. He really did treat us I thought like we were thick. He could be so much better and more popular if he learned custom service skills. How to be pleasant and approachable. I could go again but I would need to have total apathy towards him.
Excellent Koi dealer easily the best in North East England. The owner has vast knowledge of Koi and the industry in general . Koi from famous breeders such as Isa , Marusie, Omasako etc very reasonable pricing too.
Turned up today unannounced, not a problem as it was my first visit and I was unsure about the location. Wow wow and wow, beautiful garden setup Japanese ornaments plants trees all over. Wow again on the landscaping and rugged gothic windows old buildings just like a ruined castle. Then I got a tour and the fish he has far surpasses anything I have seen below. Did I mention he is a nice man and sat down for a chat, deffo worth a visit with me with a nice cup of tea. I will not go anywhere else ever moving forward but will give him a ring first rather than just turning up. Also a very trusting man was going to let me leave with £120 worth of fish and told me to pay later. Very good value and quality better than anything else within a 50 mile radius .
Visited the place for the first time, definitely won't be my last trip here! Brain was great, guided me around safely showing me all the fish. Maybe the best collection of quality fish I've seen. Almost every fish was a stunner but the most important thing was they were all priced very reasonably! Highly recommend.
Wow What a place, Me and my wife were given a very warm Welcome by Brian. Brian is a fantastic man with a vast amount of experience and knowledge when it comes to everything Koi and Koi keeping. We would definitely recommend a visit it's a one stop shop
What great place, a hidden gem definitely, owner Brian was great and welcoming showed is around with it be our first time there with plenty of koi at great prices and dry goods more than what the warehouse stock's can't wait to call back again and sample some fish this time instead of fruit lol. Please call to arrange appointment first rather than just turn up like us.
Bought some plants for my new water feature. What a find this is! Excellent value and I received great advice over the plants.
Big thank you to Brian who took the time yesterday to give me loads of advice and show me round even though I didn't even buy anything. Brian is very knowledgeable in his field and answered loads of questions I had, he has a cracking set up and as well as some nice fish he stocks most things you could ever need to build a pond and keep koi. I will be back in a couple of weeks with a list and when I am ready for some fish this will be my first stop. Thank you.
