Great food chip are really nice not greasy and the fish is just as good. Its become my number 1 stop in aylesford if I fancy fish and chips everything else is just as good and staff are friendly

As much as the food is okay if a little on the greasy side, the main reason for leaving the one-star review is the staff. The part time staff are great, but the main chef a middle aged man named George is one of the most horrible people I've ever met. He regularly screams at his staff, shouting at them in front of his customers, blaming them aggressively for his own mistakes and has even been known to physically push them around. I won't frequent any business that allows a grown man to physically, verbally and emotionally bully what are usually young people who work there, and I don't think other people should either.
Traditional Fish and Chips served by families of Cypriot descent is part of the culture I grew up with. These warm, Caring craftsmen of Britain’s staple are keeping the tradition alive here in Kent at A & D Fisheries. The format is simple, fish, chips, salt, vinegar, boxed or paper wrapped. Fresh as and delicious. Want something a little different I highly recommend the Mushy Peas Fritters and battered Hollumi.
Used to be good. I travel further for the good stuff! I was the only person in the chip shop when i placed my order. I waited over 30 minutes for Haddock and chips. During which time at least 10 people came and went with their cod and chips orders. Not obly that but i was asked several times to repeat ny order. I never received an apology. Once I got the food home it was cold and not fresh and left me feeling disappointed.
Ordered through Deliveroo, came in good time, and food tasted very nice however the chips, sausage and saveloy was luke warm, pretty much cold by the time I started eating this is possibly due to sitting under warmer then delivered. Nuggets and chicken burger was hot though, clearly cooked fresh. Perhaps when doing online orders the food should be cooked to order to ensure it stays hot during the delivery process.
went in for cod and chips, greeted on arrival by 2 great members of staff who are a credit to their employee, paid for my large cod, chips and peas, the cod was cooked fresh but tbh I have never waited so long for piece of fish and in all fairness was ok as we're the chips, there was what I presume was a senior member of staff, George I think his name was who spoke to the young girl who worked there like a piece of sh#t, very unprofessional and made himself look like a bell end, as I said though the food was good... just get rid of George and the place will improve 10 fold
Just bought cod and rock and chips. The rock smelt and tasted of ammonia. So didn’t eat as didn’t want to be ill. Would have taken back but it’s a bit of a drive away. Unfortunately will never use this chip shop again.
My favourite fish and chips shop before. Used to be good but not anymore. The quality of food changed and the customer service I have received yesterday was bad.I ordered fish and chips and battered sausage. On my way home, I checked what's inside and found out they gave me a plain sausage instead. I went back to return my order but they said they don't have it. They didn't do anything about it. It seems like they changed the chef. Just ashame, this used to be my number 1 fish and chips shop. I was not happy with the customer service they have showed to me yesterday and the way they cooked the fish now is different from before.
Nice clean cut chips, fish is good too, knows his batter! Kid-friendliness: They do childrens box meals from nuggets to fish! With a toy and drink too! Good size also..
