stonehenge & bath tour We had a great experience with Anderson Tours! Our tour guide was funny, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, making the trip both enjoyable and informative. We visited Stonehenge and the Roman Baths in Bath, both of which were incredible - we had a lot of luck with the weather. The bus driver was also very sympathetic and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey. The tour itself was lovely and ran perfectly on time.
Great time. Totally worth it. The large air conditioned bus was right on time to pick us up at our pick up point. Directions were spot on. Ava, the tour guide was cheerful and knowledgeable. Our driver was polite and proficient at his duties. I picked this tour company for our party of 6 just the night before. The booking was seemless and they had all our information correct. We chose the Stonehenge and Bath tour with the entry to The Roman Baths. That was the highlight. Don't forget to bring your personal headbuds and charger. There are charging.ports on the bus. And you can download a free the Stonehenge audio tour before you get there. It's a long day but worth it. Ava, finally gave us some quiet time heading back at the end of the day for a much needed nap. We arrived back at the promised time. Bring water and snacks for sure.
I highly recommend this tour. The bus was comfortable and clean, the driver excellent, and the guide really knowledgeable and helpful I was travelling solo and he was always ready to help with a picture!. There is enough time to really profit of every place without having the impression of being chased. Avebury and Silbury Hill are great places, but in my opinion, the star of this tour is logically Stonehenge. Being so close to the stones was an incredible experience and a unique opportunity to feel the "real" vibes and all the magical history of this sanctuary. One in a lifetime experience!
Our one-day tour to the Cotswolds was absolutely amazing! Veena, our tour guide, was incredibly informative and well-prepared, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. Desire, our driver for the day, was equally fantastic—friendly and skilled. We highly recommend this visit to the Cotswolds for a beautiful and peaceful escape from our busy lives. Recently Oct 2023 went on their Dover, Seven Sister and Canterbury Tour. The tour was fantastic. Plenty of things to see and do and lots of photos to be taken. We had Haley as our guide. She was fantastic, knowledgeable, well-organized and super friendly. We also had Florian as our driver. He was impeccable at navigating the terrible roads in the UK. He had to deal with all the road closures due to construction throughout the city center. But he still managed to get us to where we needed to go in a timely and safe manner. The tour itself was long as it was a full-day tour 8am-7pm. It was fun and there was so much to see and do. There is always enough time to do whatever you want to do and see. There is also enough time to have a quick bite to eat. Highly recommend booking with Anderson Tours!!
We did the Windsor Half-Day Trip with Anderson Tours. Great tour experience and loved the views of Windsor Castle. Our tour included coach transport from Earl's Court in London to Windsor Castle and back, as well as the Windsor Castle admission ticket. Our guide, Carol, took good care of us and provided interesting commentary of Windsor Castle and London history on the coach ride. We had enough time to freely explore the State Apartments, some of the Castle grounds, and St George's Chapel. Our driver, Errol, also drove us safely to and from Windsor.
We had an absolutely incredible trip with Anderson Tours to Stonehenge and Bath. Our guide, Richard, kept bringing the knowledge so we were well informed on the history and what we were seeing on the trip as well as showing us all of the important places to visit in Bath. Our driver Floran or Florian was great as well. I would not hesitate to book another trip with Anderson Tours. Fantastic day seeing amazing historic sites in the UK.
Although it was raining, while visiting Stonehenge, we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our tour guide Tem was friendly and professional. VIN our driver expertly manoeuvred the bus through some narrow streets and got us back safely. Thanks for a great day.
The itinerary was fine , albeit a long day. The guide was knowledgeable however the “ professional “ driver was horrendous. Veering constantly to the dividing centre line lost count of the number of times the alarm sounded in the bus , he yawned constantly, talked constantly to and whilst also head turning to the guide, correcting the guide on her commentary and overspeeding. A few hail mary’s later we couldn’t wait to get off that bus. The guide deserves a medal !
I took the Stonehenge Special Access Evening Tour From London. Vinnie, our driver, expertly navigated City traffic and country roads to get us safely to and from our destinations. Haley was our guide and she was personable, friendly and knowledgeable! She and Vinnie were very real and made us all feel comfortable. Avebury was a beautiful stop, and the stones there are fascinating, too. Be sure to go into The Red Lion and see the 'village well' from the 17th century! Graffiti on a public bathroom wall suggested "Follow the fairies." Good advice! Walking around the Stones inside Stonehenge circle at the end of the day was a dream come true for me! One I have been waiting for 50 years to do. Don't wait this long!
