The atmosphere was very nice in here, like a barn conversion with a nice decor and fairy lights around the room. The food was delicious and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had my nephews with us and they were very happy with the children's menu and ate everything. They have high chairs for babies too. There is a big car park to the rear. Would recommend to friends and family and will return when next in the area.

This restaurant offers a large Italian menu and occupies a good loction. The building however could do with some modernisation, it isn't wheelchair friendly with all seating areas via stairs. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable but the restaurant lacks atmosphere. I've been multiple times, it's always cold and rather empty. It's the only place of its kind nearby and has the potential to offer more. Music/entertainment, cocktails etc. The foods nice but not very fresh or exciting.

Lovely setting in what used to be my old Sunday league meeting pub ( the Red barn) nice friendly staff & an overall nice vibe about the place but not the best Italian restaurant in the area for me. In fact quite average food tbh. Shame.

Had a meal there last night, I was very disappointed, ordered broccoli soup, think someone took the lid of the salt a poured the lot in. They replaced with the minestrone soup, bland watery and taste less. Main course mushroom risotto again to salty and I use salt in everything. My husband enjoyed his meal. Ancora is usually my favourite local Italian, we are both vegetarian and there is not a lot of options available.
