No bar service on arrival - waited 5/10 mins when someone arrived - trouble with the beer - gave up in the end & left. will not go again.!!

Absolutely awful. Chef was late in food took an hour to come to table in individual orders. Cutlery and plates were dirty. Nappy changing room was filthy and smelt awful. Since been told new manager so may improve.

I will never go here again Alarm bells started ringing on the way in when I had to walk through all the cigarette buts on the path The pub was near empty and we were the only table eating No chicken goujons, no steaks, they couldn't find the sweet corn! The Pepsi was flat Food came out in dribs and drabs one excuse being they had dropped chips all over the floor so had to cook them again steak and ale pie was not fresh , chips and peas not cooked properly and gravy not mixed properly. Asked for sweet corn on children's plates to be replaced with beans - got peas Ordered scampi with peas - got salad!!!! Told waitress how unhappy we were she apologised but did not offer refund then proceeded to go and tell everyone sitting at the bar about our complaint! Dreadful place avoid at all costs!

So shocking really. I feel sorry for anybody who dines here . We unfortunately put our trust in our xmas meal here, never again! Not fit for purpose! We had a full refund, but nothing can get that time back . Shocking service , poor food . Just awful . I really did feel sorry for the manager who served ... you could tell the embarrassment felt . Such a shame. This is under new management and i really hope they sort the kitchen out
