Generally good experience greeting was great and smooth but we were guven our receipt without asking for it! Although we were about to leave anyway. The quality of coffee and cake were fantastic.

Seriously disappointed. First the good parts: fabulous pasta and pasta sauce, great quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar as well as being reasonably priced. The main problem is the service or rather the lack of it. We were visiting with a three and a half year old. Trying to get any service after the food was delivered was simply impossible. We got up to go to the counter to get some ice cream in the end. Despite receiving the ice cream our plates were still not cleared, despite being on a table for two with three eating. The lack of staff training was unsurprising, as the most senior member was equally clueless regarding the most basic customer service.

I going to City Bakery for a pie. It was gone, so I tried this new place instead for a quick lunch. A bit fancier than I usually choose I really enjoyed the coffee, I like Americano's, it was the best one I had in Scotland. I had the smoked salmon it was very good. I went again a few days later for lunch with friends we all enjoyed our lunch. So Went again a week later. I hear its new I hope it will still be around next time I am in town. Even though they don't have pies.
