We loved Amerton Farm until recently. They have now decided to move the animals however into the "pay to enter" play area. Adults can no longer visit to take a look at the small farm animal collection without paying to enter the play area. Whether children want to play in the soft play area or not, they'd have to pay £5.99 for the privilege. We used to look at the animals, then pay to enter the wildlife sanctuary. The toy sale area has been reduced also. The whole place is now themed around spending money. we won't be visiting again.

Railway was amazing the volunteers were so interesting thank you. Cafe was fantastic very good service prices and taste. Shops were OK and pot painting lovely. We were very disappointed with the play barn and animals lots of nice ideas but lacking imagination and untidy round the edges. The five stars are for all but the play barn.

Good fun bringing my little boy to see the animals. Lots of artisan shops to see and an indoor soft play centre. It's pricey so we didn't go in as he's only 12 months and never lasts in there places very long so not worth it. It was fairly busy so must be worth it.

I personally support most of the new developments at Amerton farm. Glad the restaraunt has gone back to staff taking your order at table and paying for your food after you have eaten.comfortable seating area around the fireplace is lovely and the high backed leather chairs incredibly comfortable. New menus are varied and good value for money.Agree that the farm animals housing was very tired and did need to be completely redesigned. I feel its a fab place for children and good value for money. Our elderly father of 90 years loves to visit with his grandchildren and is a big fan of all Amerton farm has to offer as a day out. My daughter's 23 now but has very happy memories of time spent here from a very small child. Farm shop welcome addition as stone marina nolonger has one and gift shop expanding its variety of gifts. Agree need to try and cater for all ages but especially give consideration of affordability for families with children wherever possible. Thank you.

Lovely day out with my grandchildren. We all enjoyed the tractor and train rides. Grandchildren enjoyed the play barn and bouncy pillow outside. Few small outlets and courtyard with seating. Overall brilliant day out!!
