Edit: My apologies, my boyfriend just informed me he ordered from the Brighton Marina Pizza Express branch. Do not order from there. I ordered a Pollo ad Astra pizza in delivery and opened the sealed box to half of my pizza's toppings being completely slid off and were not present on my pizza at all. They were not melted or flipped to the other side, I checked. It was completely not present, including no sauce. So I had just half of an empty, soggy previously sauced base. This means a kitchen staff member was careless and didn't want to get in trouble and just packaged my pizza anyway. Despicable. And the crust of my pizza was mostly soggy and soft, which made it incredibly difficult to cut with my pizza cutter. I felt very upset and angry receiving this in delivery. Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options..
In our opinion... Not the best Pizza Express in Brighton... Typical standard Pizza Express decor. We were seated by the windows which were open whilst that was great on a hot day, we had to move tables because it was so squeezed in the opened window meant we had less space on the small table for two. There appeared to be quite a few staff on the floor, most of whom seemed content on just standing around chatting and eating. This is possibly why a lot of the food was coming out of the kitchen burnt. Our server bought out our dough balls some hot, some luke warm followed by our pizzas, both burnt, one slightly and one extremely burnt. Before even putting mine down she stated it was burnt and that they were happy to cook a fresh one if I was prepared to wait I wish I could have taken a photo to show how cremated it was. My second pizza arrived and was lovely. The toilets were located downstairs whereby there appeared to be a stagnant water smell in the air. Overall the food was ok, the service was ok, the location is great within Brighton, however personally we would recommend a walk or short bus journey up to Brighton Marina to have a much better experience. The Pizza Express there is so much better.
Food was ok, quite expensive for what it is and there are better pizzas restaurants in Brighton. Halloumi fries were rather soggy. Vegetarian options: There were some choices but not much variety Dietary restrictions: Some options but not really enough choice
If you’re lucky enough to have your table served by Rory, your experience will be an absolute treat. He’s excellent at his job, balances being laid back and fun with being attentive and on the ball. Can’t sing his praises high enough, please give this kid a pay rise. Food was spot on and our whole group had a wonderful time. Rory even sang happy birthday to my friend- thanks for the lovely evening!
Really lovely pizzas and dough balls. Service was helpful when sorting out my vouchers. Only was our table for 2, was a bit squished in between others. Would have been nice to have a bit more room. But my daughter and I still had a lovely time xFood: 5/5
Despite the fact that only 4 tables were occupied, we were turned away as they were not accepting walk-ins until 5pm. So we could have booked by phone or online to get seated there and then and it would have been fine. Struggling to see the logic… Kid-friendliness: Terrible atmosphere.

Had a sit down meal the staff were extremely friendly not to mention patient with my sister and I especially Tom. The food was fantastic only reason it's 4 stars is despite the fact we had a £40 gift card it is a little pricey all in all great experience.Food: 5/5
So a heads up if I can. This restaurant no longer provides Menus so you have to look it up online by your smart phone you can do this via the QR code left on the table or via the website. This is easy enough if you are phone savvy but can be an issue if you are not a great one with your phone and technology. Also in August especially during the government promotion of £10 off you have to book a table we sat down and ate without issue trying to get a booking reservation without any success it transpires that all the local restaurants are busy with this promotion which horse is it some tension so booking is key. As for the food and drink expect hot toasty and no issues whatsoever so cannot find fault not that we were looking for of course.
Just went out of the branch and left In silence. The girl who is serving us was super rude and asking too much till the point i asked my friend who barley speak English to leave because i feel disgusted. If it’s fair enough she will explain how it is. ! 8 years and been coming and going to this place but this time they chose the worst person to serve. !
