Couldn’t recommend more highly … really flexible appointment times with late nights available , reception super friendly and accommodating and the physiotherapists are absolutely first class. I have been attending Ambulant on and off for years and every therapist I have seen have the same high standards/really interested in an individual treatment rather than just ticking a few exercises off to complete - a special shout out to Chalith !!! well done to the whole Ambulant team !
At the time that I'm writing this review, I feel the need to sing the praises of both the physios and the secretarial staff working there. Asim is a brilliant physiotherapist who is once again making me feel validated and reassured whilst also explaining everything to me clearly and giving me a sense of hope that things can, and will, get better! I'm always made to feel welcome when I arrive and the service I receive is brilliant! If you have any issues that need the attention of a physio, then I highly recommend going to Ambulant and asking for Asim. You wont be disappointed!

I would just like to share my experience following my treatment at Ambulant Physiotherapy yesterday. From the moment I walked through the door I felt comfortable, in a very Covid friendly clean environment. I was greeted with a lovely warm welcome from the lady on reception. I received excellent physiotherapy treatment from start to finish, on my shoulder and neck, which had been causing me many sleepless nights. During my treatment, I felt very relaxed & at ease in the hands of a professional enthusiastic physiotherapist who talked me through everything. Following my treatment I was given excellent aftercare advice. I had the best nights sleep for weeks. I would highly recommend this excellent physiotherapy clinic.
I have been coming here for 6 weeks following a road traffic accident. I was a little sceptical at first when Martha, the physio who treated me suggested massage therapy to start off with on my neck and my back. I was amazed at how much better I felt after just one session. Weeks 2, 3and 4,I was treated to acupuncture on my knee my back and my neck. Again the results were amazing. Weeks 5 and 6 was more exercise based, to strengthen the affected areas. Again with excellent results. I have to say that from day 1. All the staff here deserve special praise. The reception staff are very friendly and Martha has been an absolute godsend. I couldn't recommend this practice highly enough. Keep up the good work.
I first used Ambulant 3 years ago for back pain which Anna Maria sorted in one session. I have recently needed regular appointments with Martha to treat pain from chronic sciatica whilst waiting for hospital treatment. She has helped me immensely, using massage, accupuncture and traction to relieve pain and muscle spasms, and given me an exercise plan to follow. I've received excellent care all round & feel the staff go the extra mile to help. The staff are really friendly and professional & I can't thank them enough.
My mother Anita Gallop has been going to Ambulant for over 1 year. Lara has been excellent with helping my mum regain her mobility and independence. Lara has also shown great patience and understanding and although my mum has been trying to maintain her isolation during these lockdowns periods, she has always looked forward to her regular visits to Ambulant. Fantastic service from the whole team and would definitely recommend.
I have been here for physio massages three times now and each time my experience has been excellent. Most recently I have seen Martha who really takes the time to understand your physical needs before beginning any treatment. I have a lower back/hip issue and each time I have been I have left feeling so much relief and more flexibility. I have been able to make relatively short notice appointments when I have needed to which is really good, as sometimes when you need a physio massage you really need it!!! The covid safety is excellent with a pre screening phone call followed by a consent form and temperature check on arrival and then staff wear full PPE. I will definitely keep coming to Ambulant and highly recommend it to others.
I have attended Ambulant since it opened at the beginning of 2005 – I was Martha’s first patient and she has looked after me since then. She has always treated me expertly, especially my sporting injuries which have become more numerous over the years. When my mother, who is nearly 90 years of age, visits from London, she always insists that I make an appointment for her with Martha. The clinic is invariably spotlessly clean, so I have had no qualms about attending during the Coronavirus pandemic. The clinic has introduced a strict protocol to which it adheres. I highly recommend Ambulant.
Posted for my husband Martha was able to diagnose my problem on my first visit where others had failed. I had gone from walking 5 miles a day to being unable to walk 100m after a fall. When Martha went on holiday Lara took over my treatment and was as caring, professional and proficient. Between them Martha and Lara have enabled me to get back walking every day. My wife has sung Ambulant’s praises since Martha opened- now I know why. Top class service from the receptionists to the physios. Immaculate facilities. Can not recommend them enough.
