HOT CHOCOLATE DRINKING CHOCOLATE From our very first phone to picking up our new caravan Ambergate Caravan Centre have been absolutely outstanding in their customer care. From the owner Richard, his wife Lesley, the girls in the office and the tall man who works in the shop - I cannot fault them for their attention and their attention to detail on all of our requests to have extra's added. Never pushy, never the fast buck, never the feeling under obligation to buy they have been brilliant. Imagine the company like a cup of hot chocolate on a cold day. The main components of the company make up the drink. It/they make you feel good and warm and welcoming - on top of the drink is lovely whipped cream and on top of the cream are the scrummy marshmallows that just finish this drink and make it PERFECT. This topping that adds to the already excellent drink is ROSS, their man who organizes the extras with the work and oversees the work being done - although he may also actually do the work! What a gentleman. He carried out our PDI going through every single little item, never squashing any silly questions we may have had, always listening and answering everything we asked him. He showed us how everything worked. He took his time in showing us even though we turned up late for the handover and it was coming up to closing time. He did more than was needed and made our caravan absolutely unique to us and it was his way with us (as the customer) that made us feel unique. I know that I am singing the praises of this company but we have been through a few past companies in this world and NEVER have we had such a great experience from all of them with Ross just finishing it all off. He is an absolute credit to Hobby and to Ambergate with his knowledge of this product being exemplary - I could choose all sorts of adjectives for Hobby UK, and my final is that if you want to buy a Hobby from a UK dealer please visit them - you will not be disappointed.

Has a small shop with accessories and parts. Prices seemed competitive on the items I was looking at. Staff seemed friendly and helpful, when I was buying, however I felt there service was terrible when I had a problem. Water bottles failed to seal, had to pay for replacement parts and pay excessive postage charges on top which I was told "was to cover cost of time to walk down to the post office"
