Lovely place, nice setting. Good service. Our fish main course was rather dry and they took off the price of a cocktail for this. Lobster starter very tasty and mothers lamb main course was delicious. Hope to go back.
Stayed recently on a 3 day meal inclusive package. All aspects excellent although inclusive menu could be a little more expansive to provide greater choice for 3 or more night stays. Staff very good especially in the bar area.

Lovely building with high ceilings. Good bathrooms. Nice slightly worn rooms, beds not kingsize in the ones I had. Room 39 quiet but illuminated by carpark spotlights. Some rooms have traffic noise when windows open. Lovely staff and food pretty good. Very clean.Recommended.
The grounds and the hotel building are great, tasteful and well kept. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was poor and having eaten at the restaurant twice, the food was consistently subpar. Whilst the staff were very pleasant and attentive, this hotel is failing on some fundamentals.
What a wonderful hotel. Staff so friendly, food amazing and room was 5 star. Looking forward to going back. Truo has lots of independent shops and great places to eat.
