I went in for the sale but the prices were still a bit steep. Had an interesting German language title and was ready to buy - then noticed it had at some time been soaked! Less than inspiring.

This is one of my top 3 favourite book shops. I have visited twice ( would be more but I live 90 miles away), both times I left with a little bundle of old books ( Victorian writers). They hold a fine selection at realistic prices. If they had a web site I would be buying every week!

Small independent bookshop that you should visit now while you can still get in the front door. They seem to have a problem with the common pest of 'the book' and the whole place is overwhelmed with them.
