AVOID AT ALL COSTSnnI experienced day for day slip to the completion date for over 2 weeks, despite being booked in at the convenience of the garage, and following an estimate assessment that was completed ahead of this.nnThe damage was a very minor scuff to the bumper that just required a very minor respray.nnWhen I finally arrived to collect the car which has supposed to have completed QC checks, the parking cameras had been fitted incorrectly and the wrong way around such that the road and sky were inverted.nnExtremely poor experience with consistent let down on completion date moving back a day every day, and then to have such a routine refit of parking cameras done incorrectly completely removed what little confidence was remaining in the repairs carried out.nnI then had to wait whilst the car went back into the shop to resolve the incorrect parking camera refit, having already waited 16 days for my car. Extremely frustrating very and poor quality. It begs the question on the QC process and the competency of the mechanics.
Amazing staff and customer service, I've been to a lot of garages in the past and Alton by far has the best people!nThe whole team is top tier and made a stressful moment a lot less stressful, so thank you all so much! 4263
Sarah at Alton was brilliant; friendly, efficient and with good communication, keeping us fully updated. Alton provided a nearly new courtesy car which was much appreciated. The repair looks good, and we were very impressed by the overall service provided by Alton Cars, and would have no hesitation in recommending them. 2570
I had to drop into reception because I'd left something in my vehicle and I thought what a great bunch of people that work here. The ladies were really friendly in reception and then the gents who helped me to my vehicle we're also really pleasant, I left thinking what a nice experience and also felt like my van was in good hands. My van has been dropped back off to me today and the repairs that have been carried out are second to none, really happy. I swear you've cleaned it too so thank you so much Alton cars, I will definitely recommend you ...just wish you were nearer to me, so I could use you more often. Take care 1551
