Useful local timer merchant. I have ordered from here several times including sleeper delivery and bulk bags of sand. Staff are friendly and helpful. Wood can be cut to size too! Useful shop inside the site for brackets, tools etc. Just had my latest delivery lifted over into my garden. Super service. Thanks
Needed some triangular batten for pipe boxing - couldn't find anything on-line. Went to Alsford and Calvin got some square batten cut in half at 45 degrees for me. Really excellent customer service.
Cheaper than Wickes for timber + they will cut your wood to any size for just 50p. Pine tounge and groove gives you a proper wood floor that you can stain to look like Oak and its cheaper than flimsy mdf laminates. The staff really know the products, and delivery is next day.
The chaps are very friendly and helpful, looks like they have a wide range of wood products.
Excellent source for all your timber needs. They will cut to size and often have offcuts too. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is also a shop inside that sell tools and hardware. Free customer parking on site.
We have always been 100% happy with the service in the depot & with the delivery service as we are not in the easiest property to deliver to.. Alsford Hailsham is not our nearest timber supplier but we will always use them for these reasons.
Waste of time going in there! Every time I go in nobody seems to want to serve or are too busy having a chat to even bother to look up and let you know they will be with you shortly. As a small business that turns over 80k I won’t be spending any of my money in there ever.

Made a total mess of it but saved it after 3 days with a free delivery. Still pretty poor stuff to have got to this.
