Very good food, service, atmosphere. I pop in a raining day and I felt coisy and warm. The burger is great.
Well I highly enjoyed my Meal here service was reasonable as was a quite lunch time for them. It has a very homely feel and in this large city we live in its comfortable. The food was above average and tasty I also see they offer gluten free alternatives so have a gander at them if you are on that health track. A nice enjoyable lunch come try the place out.
Amazing atmosphere, the food is delicious and the staff are superb. Well worth a visit.
Nice decor and friendly staff. Food was quite nice but portion size was on the small side. Biggest gripe is menu prices had VAT added when the bill came. Who shows ex vat prices on a menu? So was 20% more than expected.
Lovely cafe and ambience. Food is good but a bit pricey! Good vegetarian options but please bring back the saute potatoes normally served with the mushroom burger. Staff are lovely and friendly too. Overall great decent cafe in Archway square.
A business working in the service industry should have good service, at the very least polite, and decent service. Kindness, care and compassion are fantastic. Unfortunately this place has some staff that are so rude, unreasonable, inflexible, I can not bring myself to come here again. The food is OK, its not one star bad, maybe 2 and half, it's cheap, cheap quality, frozen, budget, boring... Unless you are staving and can't travel a few metres down the road, please go somewhere else. And to make it even worse, the price on the menu when taking the poor quality food was far too high, but then adding a further 20% vat on the bill! No way this cafe makes enough to register for vat....
We enjoyed the coffee, decor, friendly staff and atmosphere right up until the food eventually arrived. We waited at least 30 mins in an almost empty cafe for 3 plates of very mediocre brunch. The sweet potatoes on multiple plates were still raw, the burger was tiny and the baked eggs didn't appeared to be baked at all, just a soupy mix of eggs, beans and watery tomato. When we pointed out the raw sweet potatoes, the staff offered us some crispy potatoes which they implied were ready to be served however after another 15 minute wait the potatoes still hadn't arrived and we had lost our appetite. We asked for some money off the bill instead and they only took some mushrooms and haloumi off the bill - much more than it was worth. The attitude of the staff changed after we pointed out the problems and we didn't get the feeling the feedback was welcome. Definitely won't be back and sadly, live locally so will tell others not to go. We could have been happier customers if more had been done to make us feel like our custom was appreciated.
Ally's Kitchen has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and decor throughout. The food is absolutely delicious and well presented. The service is welcoming, friendly and personal. You can see Ally personal touch, care and thought throughout all these elements atmosphere, decor, food and service, and this what makes Ally's Kitchen a special restaurant. On top of all this, it is excellently priced. I definitely recommend Ally's Kitchen.
Was here this morning, paid €17.50 for a small breakfast, orange juice and a tea all in take away plates and take away cutlery. I think if your eating inside a restaurant you should be told before you order and pay that it is disposable ware, if I knew this I would of defiantly went elsewhere. Also you weren’t aloud use the toilets which I thought was ridiculous as they had seating area the waitress told me it was over the guidelines, I can’t see how letting your paying customer use your toilets in your establishment is against the rules and regulations. Won’t be returning here.
Bizarrely expensive and the food quality is poor. 1 slice of avocado toast, 30g halloumi and 2 poached eggs which were too overcooked to eat came to £14. We waited so long for food to come out that we were there for an hour and a half just to get some toast. The cafe itself is nice and the owner was nice but overall a poor experience
