Alexandra Lodge Bed & Breakfast

By far the best place I've stayed, room was immaculate and very comfortable bed! Breakfast was delicious and very accomodating. And incredible service, Absolutely lovely people. Can't wait to stay here again. 5/5

I stayed for one night for a wedding in the area and Jennifer and her husband couldn't have been more accommodating. Prior to going they warned me there was only one taxi driver in the area and gave me his details so I could book in advance; When I arrived they drew me a map and gave detailed directions to the venue; they gave advice on journey times/traffic the next morning so we wouldn't miss our return flights; and since I was leaving at an ungodly hour for the airport the next day and would miss breakfast they left a wonderful packed lunch in the mini bar. The room itself was comfortable, clean and spacious. The bathroom clean again, well equipped and with an excellent shower. I'm only sorry I couldn't stay longer and actually see the area properly but they made my stay so comfortable when it could have been massively stressful!

The location was nice, just off the main road in Edzell. This made it quite yet still only a minutes walk from the town center. The service was amazing! Jennifer was more than accommodating and super friendly. She suggested things to do in the area and made a fantastic breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Of 8 locations we stayed in Scotland during our honeymoon, Alexandra Lodge was the best!

The room was so cute and the bed was the most comfortable we've stayed in yet and we've been traveling Scotland for over a week. The owner was great. We loved talking to her and she gave us some great ideas of things to do. The breakfast she made for us was amazing. We would love to come back and stay again.
