I would love to be able to thank Alex Chalk for his recognition of an unduly lenient sentence in a case in which I was one of two victims. Thank you for hearing us and recognising the dreadful lasting impact of this crime. thanks to his due diligence the sentence was doubled at the appeal court. a more reassuring outcome.
Just a couple of weeks after Alex Chalk had won the battle to keep A&E active at Cheltenham General Hospital my wife had a heart attack. Although the ambulance took 35 mins to arrive from Gloucester and part of its equipment was faulty, she was in Cheltenham Emergency dept within minutes. If the paramedics had been forced to take her to Gloucester, then she may not have been recovering today. Alex, thank you for your part in keeping her alive. Best MP this town has seen: standing for town and country.
Alex Chalk is working very hard indeed for Cheltenham. He has made a very noticeable difference to many aspects of life here in the short time since his election. He has a young family and lives locally. He knows Cheltenham very well, can see what needs doing and does it! Alex's dedication to his job as our MP is clear. He does not sink to name calling of other parties. He puts all his youthful energy and enthusiasm into gaining the very best for the town and its people, now and into the future. Alex is capable and determined and is well respected in both locally and in parliament, so he is very well placed to represent us all. I have every confidence in him.
Had a problem with the bureaucracy of The DVSA which they said would take 10 weeks before they could reply to the e-mail! and Alex help solved the problem in 4 days ! With all the nonsense about Brexit nationally it is good to see a local MP helping local people when they need it. Cannot speak to highly of the help he gave me.
31/01/22 - Very difficult to reach via email especially to gain an understanding of his current views during these troubling times of leadership.
Missing, no office in town, slippery as an eel
Made a complaint about my step mothers funding for her care and got a generic reply, passed onto one of his assistants and heard nothing!!
He has only just resurfaced, after spending a year being paid to work. Does not even reply to emails
Typical Tory more concerned about career than local issues.
