A lovely little find. We popped in here for lunch and really enjoyed our visit. It's very small but quaint and cosy. Delicious food and a good selection. The coffee was great too.Food: 5/5
We have eaten here on multiple times and the food is always great. The salad is always fresh which quite often is neglected in cafe's, the staff are friendly and helpful, always ready for a chat and the time waiting is so short. I would recomend Aldwinckles to anyone, whether new to Market Harborough or if they have lived here for a while. A true hidden gem.
First visit to Aldwinkles today and will certainly be back. We only had the breakfast ciabatta roll but was tasty and fresh with good quality bacon and sausage and nice touch of a small glass jar of sauce. Nicest coffee we’ve had in a while and was piping hot! Lovely, friendly, fast service and attentive staff, clean and tidy and a lovely welcome compared to another newly opened coffee shop in Harborough where the staff ignored us and miserable! a credit to the owners!
Truly appalling breakfast , which I am almost sure had not been freshly cooked, despite a denial when asked. It felt and tasted as if it had been microwaved and I was assured that the eggs were fresh...yes they probably were at one point but I am sure that neither the sausage or eggs had been cooked from scratch while we were there. It was like a bad airport cafe meal! A great pity because we were returning customers who had enjoyed a terrific breakfast a couple of weeks ago.And a nice setting too, but won't be back, sadly.
Lovely cafe to enjoy a great lunchtime meal the food was very good small areas to sit in very different interior nice atmosphere, great service and good prices well worth a visit
I am sorry to give Aldwinkles only two stars, but our experience was pretty disappointing. Imagining the Mexican Bean Quesadilla turned out to be baked beans with a few kidney beans and one sweetcorn kernel, but primarily a small quantity of baked beans and similarly quantity of cheese inside a toasted wrap. The salad was actually a garnish of three small leaves and two halves of cherry tomato. There were half a dozen crips. My husband's goats cheese roll was better, but economies are clearly being made and £8 for baked beans inside a wrap is unacceptable....unless it's made from proper ingredients and less scant.
Spent a very chilled time here this morning, enjoying delicious cake and coffee- Well worth a visit guys, lots of choice, good quality , in very pretty surroundings- Will definitely be returning- oh! and staff! Sooo helpful and friendly
What a charming little place, very friendly staff, I had the Christmas turkey and stuffing warm sourdough roll with cranberry sauce , it came with mini pigs in blankets served with crisps, absolutely delicious lovely cup of proper tea. Would highly recommend.
We were meeting friends as a mid-way point in Market Harborough. What a find! We had mulled wine and coffees which were lovely- just what we needed after a long drive. A fab start to the Festive season. Many Thanks
Charming little coffee house. With a great selection of drinks and cakes : Looks like they do other food too as there was a board that had soup of the day and nachos on it. A small amount of seating outside and some inside on the ground floor. There were some stairs heading up that I assume went to more seating but we didn't check it out so not sure. Would go again.
