On 31/10/2025 between 13:45–14:15, I visited your store regarding a parking ticket and spoke with a supervisor/manager named Hayley near the entrance. I had parked for 12 minutes after closing, unaware of the parking restrictions.nnMy concern is not the fine but Hayley’s behavior. She was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional, acting as if no one could question her by raising her voice and unable to handle a simple 5 minute customer query professionally. She even laughed while offering me the customer service number I can give you the number to complain about me haha . Speaking with her felt like dealing with someone untrained in basic customer service.nnThis experience left a very negative impression. I suggest reviewing CCTV and providing further customer service training. Due to this experience, I will no longer be visiting Aldi stores.
Aldi at this location is really a great service to the dwellers of Eccles, Salford wherefrom they are able to buy groceries of a good standard and best quality within their budget and under a single roof.nI always visit this store whenever I need to buy my groceries. Staff is very ice and helpful. Parking is enough to accommodate the customers cars.nFruits and fresh vegetables of sorts are available here for the customers. More than half a dozen Self Service counters are there for the customers to count, pay and take away their groceries after making payments on the self-service paying machines. In case of any issues with self-service points, the helping assistance is just at an arm distance to quickly approach you and provide ' On the Spot's assistance on the self-service counter.nI always feel comfortable to shop from here bcaz every product is provided with a code bar and one finds it convenient to scan even a very small item of vegetable or fruit for it has been wrapped in the code bar paper. Unlike other grocery shops every tiny item is provided with bar codes and need doesn't arise to go through the 'Veg/Fruit List' to find an item for pricing. It's really a gr8 convenience for the customers..nKeep it up Aldi.nWell done Aldi.
Aldi Eccles is my local branch when I'm at work. Staff are friendly and the store is always clean.nPlease can I give a special mention to everyone working today 22.09.25. I lost a very special necklace that was given to me after my mum passed away in 2023. Panicking, as I do, I approached the gentleman on the self serve checkout about 11am and asked if it had been handed in. He reassured me in a calm manner that they may have it. Without giving me any details he enquired with someone in the office who asked me questions about my necklace to make sure it was mine. I was then reunited with my very special necklace.nNot only did the team members deliver excellent customer service, they also managed to calm and reassure me. This is why Aldi is my go-to store.nI cannot thank Eccles Aldi enough.
It's affordable, clean and the staff are kind. I don't expect anymore but you somehow give it to me with not only the pricing but available support and stable atmosphere.nnIt can get busy but you won't stand in line for long, this is a great shop.
Great location with easy parking.nnTheres also an inpost locker here too which comes in handy.nnBut like most grocery stores its super expensive. Not the Aldi we use to know back in the day unfortunately.
