We've just had our first takeaway from AJ Takeaway and it will be our last. I went for the House Chop Suey, which for me is a benchmark 'Chinese dish' that easily distinguishes a poor Chinese takeaway from a great one, simply by the range of ingredients used and appearance. To my disappointment, AJ's took the poor end of my takeaway experiences to a new level; I was dished up a tasteless, slimy, pink(!) gloop, consisting of just bean sprouts and onions, some grisly beef, fatty pork and, in fairness, some ok chicken and prawns. My wife, on the other hand, went for a King Prawn Curry but that too failed to deliver - it was thick, pasty, heat-less and left an odd after-taste. We most definitely cannot recommend this place.

Long delivery time quoted (2 hours). Delivery was confirmed at 8.30, actually delivered 9.15. Line busy for 45 minutes, no apology upon delivery. Food quality ok and hot

Everytime I have orederd from there the food has been of a very good standard and it my favourite resturant and the food is always piping hot

The food was annoyingly good! The speed of service/delivery however is laughable. Ordered at 6.25 and waited over 2 hours for the food to arrive! If they could just sort that issue out then this place would easily reach 4 maybe even 5 stars!
