Had an appointment here last week. 19 bus no problem. A minutes walk to the building. Although masks had to be worn all through the meeting. The lady arrived on time and very helpful. Building clean and well heated.
I eat lunch in Jarretts regularly. They've just refreshed the menu for Autumn and it includes items like sausage casserole, chicken curry, sweet and sour Chinese chicken and meat loaf. It's good value and you get a warm welcome from the team as standard. They also do microwave cookery classes for older people on Tuesday afternoons when the café closes. Coffees and tea to go with takeaway food. It has a 5 star hygiene rating too.
A great place run by caring people who genuinely want to make a difference for the elderly. The Admiral Nursing team are angels and provided me with fantastic advice and support throughout my Gran's battle with dementia. Don't know what I would have done without them. Simply the best.
This is a great place for the best value sandwiches and a tea or coffee. Sausage or Bacon on white roll or brown only £2.60. Breakfasts served all day, Panini's toasted , Soup always popular Salads etc etc all very reasonable. The staff very friendly and sociable. Pity they took the wifi away though unless you want to use the one computer in the place. Soft drinks of various types in the cooler. Toilets are immaculate as is the café. 9/10
Outstanding charity which takes the trouble to understand the needs of communities and people, works with partners to develop strategies, then develops services that make a difference. We like Age UK North Tyneside because they want to keep people well and independent, reducing their dependence on helpers and keeping them among friends and community
Such wonderful staff.. so genuine and caring! Can't help you enough! And the cafē inside, Jarrett's, does amazing food!
Staff always helpful never hurry you and I had a cup of coffee from the cafe in shock tasted of coffee not like a cup of milk
