Great place to recharge and you must ask but showers are upstairs. Great nibbles and plenty of area for quiet time
It gets very busy in this lounge, and the overall options aren’t fantastic. In the morning, I was struggling for a seat. The food was basic for a lounge. Cereal and basic packaged food options were available with pastries. Beer, water, juice and canned soft drinks are for takes, however no wine, Champaign or hard liquor in the morning. I believe they become available in the afternoon, however they should be an option 24/7. Staff we very friendly, and cleaned quickly once guests left.
Gets two stars because there’s a barista. As with every Aer Lingus lounge, the food situation is a joke. Not even so much as a single pastry this morning. Never any hot food. A couple of cereals, fruit, cheese. Honestly better just going to Starbucks. I’d feel cheated if I paid for this.
The Aer Lingus lounge at Dublin airport was exceptionally spacious - which one would imagine as this is the homebase for the airline. Showers were available and appointed with personal care travel size items, along with very clean and spacious bathrooms. Generous buffet offered both hot and cold items with sandwiches prepared and stored underneath the counter in the small refrigerator that could be overlooked if you weren’t looking down for your food. This was a great option to bring on the flight to sustain back to the United States while not eating the airplane food. One star deduction, however: it was curious that signs were posted throughout the cafeteria area in the lounge, indicating that behavior from customers towards staff was to be respectful at all times - any other behavior would not be tolerated. This posting begged the question of what kind of interactions between customers and staff have been there on the regular or even in the past? I asked a question of the food service staff if there may be any yogurt available of which I didn’t see readily, and I was met with a frown and a quick brush off. Clearly, the experience of the food service staff with customers has some sort of a dark history. Perhaps one way to help that would be to have a dedicated staff member to be a customer liaison while the food service staff could focus on just their duties alone. Plenty of seating throughout the area and helpful announcements made to let you know when it was time to go lineup for boarding. Good job, Aer Lingus!
Nice lounge located between T1 and T2. It was specious and comfortable. A little disappointed by the breakfast options as it was just a continental offering pastries, cereal, yogurt, etc I was looking forward to some nice warm hearty breakfast food.
Very limited food selection, just 1 hot soup, 2 "salads" and 3 types of wraps which tasted almost the same. 2 types of cake both of which were good though. Drink selection was alright. The upstairs seating with the showers was closed. Unfortunately some of the seating was very dirty see first pic and there were dirty dishes everywhere. We were in the lounge for a good 2 hours and that's how long it took for some of the dishes to be cleared away. It also was extremely cold in here.
Folks working to manage lounge are great, professional and expedient. Lounge is very busy for a Tuesday, but clean with ample seating. Plenty of food and snacks. But not a Guinness in sight! Serving Italian & Spanish wine, but no Guinness. Plenty of Budwiser, but not the rainbow kind. Retreated to the departure gate and found the elusive Guinness!
Pleasant and comfortable. Food options dreadful. Shower out of order. I was looking forward to a hot breakfast. I also heard others complaining. Expensive if you are depending on food. Aer Lingus you could do much better.
A quiet, attractive space in which to await your flight. Breakfast is basic: cereal, fruit, bread, pastries, tea, coffee, juice, all included in the €35 price. Seating is comfortable and there are plenty of sockets to charge your phone. Certainly beats hanging out on the rows of grey seats at the departure gates.
Nice lounge! Basic enough snacks and drinks but comfortable and spacious seating areas... and the staff are also welcoming and friendly!
