What I liked about the lounge is its quietness and space. I can't say much about food as I believe I arrived between breakfast and lunch time, meaning there were just biscuits and muffins to eat plus a few croissants. The lounge is very easy to find at the right of the departure hall after the security area.
Had s fee hours to spend before flight to dublin . Went in at 14.00. Checked in within seconds by very nice staff member. Very nice choice of seating and lounge was kept nice and warm. Nice selection of food and drink to keep you going if you don't want a full hot meal. Well stocked and re stocked during my time . The lady re stocking and cleaning the tables was the nicest person you could meet working yhe whole time to keep the place clean not something you see all the time . this is a great spot to spend a few hours in peace and quiet and with staff like this will definitely be back next time at heathrow. Thank you
So so so incredibly disappointed by this experience. I was invited to pay £30 lounge access when checking in for a morning flight and decided to treat myself - it's Christmas.... For £30, I got pastries, juice and coffee. That was about it. No hot food and certainly no alcohol before 11am. An abject disgrace for a lounge of a flag-carrying airline at one of the world's largest airports. Do better Aer Lingus.
Nice comfortable lounge in T2. Easy to find, turn right after you get through security. Limited snacks and drinks, had to go into the terminal to find a good coffee. Plenty of space to relax.
A nice place to get away from the noise and stress off the airport. Has a selection of red, white and sparkling wines, beers and several juices and waters. We were nicely attended. The place is too hot for my taste, though
Appalling lounge, no food except meagre dry biscuit. Receptionist said they stopped sandwiches and wraps because lounge is only for short haul. Never again.
Wonderful Aer Lingus Lounge at Terminal 2 Heathrow Airport. It reflects true Irish colours around the lounge. It's very clean. When I went, it was quite empty. There's a large TV with a waterfall screensaver. There's also toilets & showers inside the lounge. You have a view of the runway and Terminal 4 which is partially blocked by these strips see pic. The only downside is not enough food choices. No sandwiches or hot food when I visit. Just snacks and a cake.
Spacious but bar far a cheap lounge. Peanuts and drinks. Stick with priority pass. Way better selection.
Paid 30 Euro to access lounge. After a long day, I was looking forward to a snack before the flight. They had like warm tasteless leek and potato, some peanuts and biscuits. I had to leave to get something to eat. Fine if you want alcohol, plenty of that.
It's now called Aspire lounge and it has opened up to paying guests. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff. The food was awful though! Had some "chicken curry ", at least that's what it was advertised as! It was so bland I had to use half a bottle of tobasco sauce to give it a little life! The chicken itself had the consistency of plastic! In fairness the salad was crisp and fresh. The other hot choice was Mac & cheese!
