Don't hire bikes from here. My buddy rented a bike from here as his bike had a mechanical earlier in the week. Initially service was good them being able to help out with a rental however the bike failed half way round the red loop due to poor maintenance. He then had to walk all the way back which if you know the route is really far and the shop refused to give a refund. Very disappointed as it spoiled the last day of our trip to Scotland.

chose to visit Ae Mtb trails due to having a cafe and shop only to find it closed Wednesday yet no mention of this on 7stanes website. We would have gone elsewhere otherwise. Disappointing!

Great wee shop and muddy-bike-friendly cafe. The mechanics sorted me out with a replacement bolt that had fallen out during a ride - thanks so much guys!
