Fabulous pub, with an exceptional view of the seaside and docks. Battered fish & chips and scampi & chips were absolutely smashing, 5 stars. The tartar sauce divine. Would highly recommend a quick stop here if on the coast. Thank you for such a lovely tasting meal!nAnd yes - get the Sticky Toffee Pudding!
Popped in for dinner whilst staying at the caravan park. Great little pub offering bar meals. Dog friendly in the lounge. Big beer garden out front. Service was attentive and efficient. Good atmosphere. Bar area sounded lively. Relatively cheap drinks. Food was reasonable, perhaps a little expensive for what it is but don’t mind paying if only eating out once on the weekend. Would recommend if you’re in the area. Menu prices as of June 2024
Great place for a lovely meal, friendly staff, and the views aren't bad either.
We visited on a Tuesday night. Despite being very quiet with two other tables, we waited 50 minutes for our food to arrive. We just had mains and nearing in mind how quiet it was the order of 2 scampi and a steak, we thought this was quite long.nWhen the food arrived, the scampi were luke warm. In fact, my wife only ate two. It seemed like they had run out of chips as there was a noticeable difference in the amount on the plates. Perhaps the scampi had been left on the server waiting for the steak to be cooked. The steak was well cooked, hence 3 stars.
Nice enough, limited small menu. Was expecting a little .ore seafood variety. Fish and chips was good, sides simple and fresh.
