In the area for work only stayed 1 night out of the 2 nights I was originally staying not a clean room although the bedding and towels where clean the room let it down it needs alot of attention not just the room but structurally floors sink as your walking around the room cracks in the ceiling TV cut off after an hour had to wait half hour to get it back on the toilet seat moving whilst sat on it cobwebs in corner of ceiling yes for the price you could say it's worth but I have stayed in better places for the same money unfortunately the room just felt unclean, there is no food even though it advertises on Google maps as serving food and even though they have taken it off booking.com it still says it serves breakfast and is on the nearest restaurants list unfortunately a let down I hope the owners pick this place up off the ground as the potential could be great where it's situated
FALSE ADVERTISING. This venue does not have a working kitchen or a Bar. They have not been running it for a year or two. After a 9 hour drive very disappointed to find no food available and no breakfast. A microwave and kettle available in lounge area, The initially room given was a single room with no room for bags etc, old, tired, not looked after rooms. Supposed to stay for two weeks for work so spoke to owner who upgraded us to a double room but this wasn't much better, bed uncomfy, 2 lumpy pillows in one pillow case to pad it out, used shower gel left opened in the shower from previous occupant, shower head propped up with lolly pop stick, every single floor board creaks and wobbles including in other rooms so you can here people moving around at night. Stuck it out for 4 nights, but ended up moving to Elgin. Buckie has a couple of takeaways, some venues weren't open in the evening, subway opens 8-5.nnVery disappointed with this venue, bearable for 1 night maybe if you're passing through.
This hotel is very well located, 400 meters from the sea and in the center of Buckie. It's a budget hotel, the rooms are very clean and have all the essentials. The owners are very friendly. If you're looking for a decent, clean place to spend a few days, with a certain amount of comfort, this could be a good choice, especially at a low cost. It has parking and there are places to buy takeaway food nearby. For me, it's an affordable and good enough option for traveling between Inverness and Aberdeen and around.
Unfortunately one of the worst places I've ever stayed. Bathroom smelt of smoke with tab ends in the toilet bowl when I arrived. Thick layer of dust over most surfaces. A hot shower took ten minutes of waiting for it to heat up. Wouldn't recommend it at all.
The rooms are a bit dated but very clean. Sheets and towels are pristine, bed comfortable and the bathroom is functional. The room was even equipped with a TV.nnThe host is extremely friendly and let me stay on very short notice. I enjoyed my two nights very much and recommend it to everyone who's looking for a fair value for money deal and who doesn't need any luxury. Here it is!
