I have been ordering fish suppers via the Adios App for quite some time now, they were recommended to me by a friend and in turn I have recommended to another couple of friends. During this time, we were receiving cold fish suppers, but I spoke to the owner who was very nice, and we haven't had another one since. However, the delivery times were getting worse, sometimes waiting up to an hour and a half and this can be during the week. Three months ago, our order was over an hour and a half, I spoke the a man who was in charge, he actually said to me, if you want it quicker get in your car and pick it up yourself, charming character!! I don't drive and I am a carer for my Mum. After this, I havent used Adios for two months. My Mum is palliative care so tonight she felt she could eat a fish supper from Adios. Long and short it was nearly an hour we had to wait, but when I called to speak to someone in charge, unfortunately it was the same man again, just as arrogant as before, I told him the circumstances, he didn't care, I didn't want Mum to eat too late. Eventually it was delivered, but I've had enough, my friends have also been complaining, and decided not to use them again, I am now the same. I hope the owner sees this review, that manager needs to be spoken too, and they need to take on another driver, we pay the higher prices for good food and delivery, well provide us with better service. I hear there is a very good chip shop on the Village Main Street!
Order arrived 40 minutes after due with one item missing. Apparently “a mix up with the orders”. Would take another half an hour to deliver because “they only have one driver on tonight”. The rest of the portions are really poorly portioned for both cheese and sauces. Had been using for years but each time recently been poor. They are happy to only refund for the product not received as a gesture. Regrettably getting a microwave dinner out. Avoid until they sort this out. Happier house if you cook for yourself. *I’ll add. We feel really sorry for the young person on the phone asking to refund the dish. But there is absolutely not a hope I’ll be providing my card details over the phone to this organisation. They can keep the money. How it couldn’t have been just refunded by the same means it was paid is another massive red flag.
Best fish and chips I have had in a long time. Staff are friendly and helpful all,And very reasonable price as well. If ever in east Kilbride again I will be going back.Food: 5/5
Being new to EK I have tried a few chippys, this is the best one to date. My only criticism is I ordered a large chicken supper and couldn’t fault the chicken however as I asked for a large supper, the chip portion was poor, the carton only allows a few scoops of chips in the carton. Apart from the chip portion this is a great chippy.
Fish was very very good nice crispy batter, chips were very very poor, so only 3 stars. Hope they improve there chips or it will only be a single fish not a supper.
I ordered delivery for the first time last night and it will definitely not be my last time! Food arrived piping hot and fresh despite the nearly 10 minute distance the driver had to travel. I never usually order from somewhere that distance away as the food normally doesn’t travel well so I was delighted with how it arrived! I would highly recommend, would give it 10 stars if I could!

Absolute shambles of a business. We had stopped using them for a good while due to constant errors. Even spoke to the owner after shortages with one of our orders, who promised to refund the shortages but that never happened. Today it took 2 hours to come, all drinks missing, all ice cream missing. That’s 3 orders out of 4 with significant errors. Never again. Which is a shame as the food is good. My advice, don’t waste your time and be ready for someone to go hungry! Plenty of other decent chippies in East Kilbride.
Got take out the tacos are amazing, the pizzas are just the same and the service was good as alwaysFood: 5/5
As the saying goes, everyone knows the rules... This is my first visit here and if I'm ever back in town, I'll be sure to call again. The pizzas were very lovely and had a really fresh taste to them. The crust/pizza had just the right amount of char as well. Would highly recommend.
