Absolutely brilliant. Booked a three night stay. We loved everything about Adhurst yurts. Check in was easy, great communication in advance. Reasonable prices and lovely touches. Everything you need is provided and put together in an eco-friendly, simple, yet surprisingly elegant way. From fire wood and outdoor kitchen, to bedding and outdoor shower etc. Great walks and country pubs nearby. Highly recommend this for a nice weekend away in the woods.
horrifying. i was spending my 28th la tomatina here with my ex- dogs father and as soon as I entered a huge oak tree crashed on my red tesla, i was charged 5 bottles of Coke Zero for a toilet! the adhurst yurts in bolivia were much better. my nineteen children were enjoying it until they got assaulted by a wild pink hibiscus flower- attempting to eat Bognor and Jimbob_56763 and all of my 23 children were terrified half to dead twice- especially Jimothy-Quirky Lad who hid in my black lamborghini for 93 months after my chicken caeser salad came to life and killed all 27 of my deary babies. Unfortunately, my friends sisters dogs bagel was drowned into the water by his triplet and was not saved by any of my 13.2 children.
Alison and Guy are very kind, welcoming, easy going and helpful hosts. We had the most gorgeous time camping this September and thanks to the wood burning stove & safari kitchen - we didn’t need to worry about the weather. Highly recommend to those wanting an escape or enjoyment of going back to basics. Family highlight was making toast in the morning! Very clean, well equipped. Very easy to relax.
Have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay in Chestnut Yurt and we are already planning our next stay! The yurt and safari kitchen had everything we needed and we had a warm outside shower and very clean privy. The location is amazing and we felt completely lost in nature, very private and perfect for young children to explore! Evenings around the campfire and morning birdsong was just what we needed to escape city life. Alison was very welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful. Lots of lovely places to bike ride and walk in the local area. We loved it from the moment we saw it. Thank you for a wonderful experience xx
We had a fantastic stay! Lovely, well equipped Yurts in a stunning location. We loved it. Cannot recommend the Harrow for lunch enough take cash, if you have kids you need to sit outside. I genuinely think this may be the best pub in the UK. We will be back…to the yurts and the pub.
We were 2 families with kids and stayed at Adhurst Yurts for 2 nights. It was such a dreamy experience. We wish we could stay longer. The host was so nice and made sure we had a wonderful stay. Will definitely come back with more friends and families!Rooms: 5/5
Another lovely stay at Adhurst yurts. We returned for a weekend visit after staying here approx. 7 years ago when our two boys were younger; we loved it then and loved it even more the second visit. We visited with another family and treated our teenage sons to their own yurt so we didn't get under one another's feet - not that this is a problem as the yurts are adequately sized for 4 people especially Redwood and Birch which are bigger sized than the yurt we were in - Chestnut. The yurts are spread far enough for privacy but also near enough that it's easy to commune and eat together. Also, the owners were very welcoming and helpful, allowing us to move the firepits if we wanted to so we could have a communal area for sitting round the same camp fire, and loaning us a cool box when we left ours at home. The yurts / outdoor kitchens are more than adequately equipped allowing you to pack light a relief when you've had to pack heavily for other camping trips and need everything bar the kitchen sink!. We loved the addition of the private outdoor shower for Chestnut yurt and the hammock near to us was another fab extra. The woodlands are great for exploring and we recommend the swing rope down by the river if you're feeling adventurous! Thank you Alison and Guy for all the thought you have put into making your campsite very special and unique.
My partner and I stayed in Badger for 2 nights in early June and had an amazing time! The owner was very helpful and welcoming, and the yurt was clean, cozy, and beautiful! The self catered kitchen has everything we needed and more! It did rain throughout our stay but that didn’t dampen our experience, we still enjoyed long walks in the forest, cooking over the fire, and a trip to the local pub. We felt very connected to nature and left feeling recharged and refreshed. We would come back in a heartbeat, and only wish we stayed longer!
We are just back from a wonderful 3 night stay at Adhurst Yurts. We had an amazing time and everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. The yurt is super cosy and warm, the outside kitchen and dining area is practical and a great place to hang out and the grounds, don't get me started on the grounds........ they are stunning with endless rhododendron flowers, a river to paddle in and lots of quiet country walks. We didn't want to leave our camp but did walk to the Queens Head pub in Sheet which is a lovely village. The rest of the time we lazed and relaxed at the yurt We were in chestnut yurt which is lovely for anyone but great for couples as it feels quite secluded. I had a blissful 2 hour sleep in the hammock and the wood burner in the yurt was perfect when the night and early mornings were chilly We cooked on the fire pit and on the bbq? As well as the stove. Our dog had the best time. None of us wanted to leave!!! Ali is just lovely and you can see how much she cares about her business and wants everyone staying to have an authentic experience. I recommend these Yurts to anyone! Don't hesitate, just book!!
We stayed with Adhurst Yurts for the first time to celebrate my partners 30th birthday and had the most amazing time. The yurts are so cute, decorated to perfection and the safari kitchen and campfire area had everything we needed to cook and relax outside. Close by to the yurts is the river Rother - so so beautiful! If you are looking for a place to relax but with plenty to do book here! The hosts were lovely and so helpful. Also ideal if you have kids or pets. We will definitely be going back.
