Lovely little shop, everything you need for any occasion, keep this Lovely little business alive. Always my goto for cards and gifts etc.
I've just had the rudest customer service I've had in a long time. The lady was very unhelpful and I couldnt leave quick enough & definitely wont be back.
I have used this card shop for years. I try to shop local, and use this shop a couple of times a year. Here they have a fair selection of cards at good prices. However recently it is no longer a pleasant browsing experience and I'm in and out as fast as possible because it stinks of stale cigarette smoke. I'm going to have to find another local card shop, or just go to Sainsbury's because I no longer enjoy shopping in this one. If you're a smoker you probably won't notice, but for us who don't it's unpleasant.
Very expensive and not a great selection. Items on shelves seen better days. Shop feels like it needs dusting. Shop assistant didn’t smile once during my visit or ask me if I needed help. In fact carried on a conversation with another person behind counter as though I didn’t exist! I asked for a bag to put the helium balloons I had bought in so I didn’t have to walk across the road with them. I was charged 25p for a black bin liner with holes in!! I had just spent nearly £10 in the shop so I was not happy. I won’t be returning.
Ace of Cards is under new managerment. It's been over a year since Sharon took over Ace of Cards she has had a hard time because of Covid-19, hopefully she will get the local support she deserves, its a lovely Shop so please keep supporting her and all our local shops..so pleased its open again.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. Have a lovely selection of cards and gifts. I always get my cards from their.
